Challenge Title: Happy Dance
Hostess: Brenda (aka tessaduck)
Keyword: JUN15VSNA
Date: Friday, June 12, 2015 6 P. M. EST
I love to dance! Any form, but particularly country line dancing. Every Tuesday night a few friends get together for about an hour and a half of dances, learning a new one frequently, and enjoying the oldies. Appropriate, since most of us are oldies! Here's what I love about it: It's physical (fun exercise). It's social. It's a little bit silly and forgiving, as we all flub up from time to time. It keeps me alert (I call it algebra that I can do with my feet). Mostly, it makes me happy.
The challenge here is to represent a happy dance on a card or project.
I did two A1 samples, using dancing frogs. I used to collect frogs... I also attached Lisa's very lovely card. Not a frog.

I loved making my ballet card. My neighbor's daughter is a ballet dancer and this card was totally inspired by her: Dancing Girl. Thank you for the great challenge Brenda!!!
Brenda, thanks for being hostess! This was a fun and surprising challenge. I thought I HAVE NO DANCERS! When I saw the little girl, which I knew I had, and read her sentiment, it made my day!
my sister used to collect frogs, and from time to time people would see me buying them ( for her) and think I collected them... so I have a pretty big frog collection from gifts... but, I still pick up the frog stamps when I see them.
I have a bunch of those... wonder where they are hiding... some look like frog rag dolls? but, the ones I have never ever inked are the solid ones... can't even tell you the set name anymore.
I am stuck! Trying to think of an image that I have that would work! I only have at least 1000 stamp sets; surely one of them would work? LOL. It is a wonderful challenge and there are some great cards in this challenge's gallery. So I will be back! Thank you Brenda!
Adorable, and the flourishes add to the dancing movement. However, I had to move it to the May 2015 - happy gallery. Remember to choose that gallery for vsn uploads, please.

Gosh, this one is stumping me. I spent an hour in my file looking for something dance related. If I could find my Hawaiian set in the garage, there is a hula girl that would be great. Have not found her yet but working on it!

Remember, you've a week yet to complete the challenge! Take time. Sometimes an idea will pop up when you're not stressing about it... Maybe you'll find a newspaper clipping. A stamping buddy once clipped a dancer image from the local paper and used it to make a truly awesome card. I think I still have it in my favorites.
I'll go look for it.
