Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Think you have what it takes? Think Downtown Julie Brown's got nothing on you?
We are looking for VJ's for our Retro 80s Party. VJ's will be responsible for hosting their stamping challenge and all the fun stuff that comes with it.
Think you are up for the job? Then send a PM to stampingdenise and pink-fish with three challenge ideas you have. Also, let us know if you have hostessed in the past, and how many times, etc. We like to get a mix of new and well as experienced hostesses. If you can give your challenge an 80s twist, that would be great but it's not necessary. If you are having trouble defining your challenges, let us know that, too. We're here to help!
Hint: It helps to make your challenge more rather than less specific. That doesn't mean it has to be difficult... but there have been a lot of VSN challenges, and we'd like to try things that haven't already been done. If you need help, we're here for you!
We need to hear from you no later than July 16th to consider you.
We are also looking for stampers with children to host the childrens challenge.
Location: VA...between the mountains and the ocean beach!

I LOVE the Go-Go's!!! My 9yo DD was singing something the other day and she kept saying "Ah la so-so"... I was like "WHAT are you saying?" and when she told me some of the other words, I realized it was "Our Lips are Sealed"!! So funny how they think it's NEW music!!
VJs were the "dj's" of MTV. Since DJ stood for "disc jockey" I'm assuming VJ stood for "video jockey." It's all part of the 80s culture. Downtown Julie Brown was one of the MTV VJs.
