Hey, Trish!
Can we use 2-way glue and plain paper in lieu of Post-It notes?

What is a good brand of white Craft Ink to buy at Michael's or AC Moore? I don't have time to get any from Stampin'Up.

Craft ink is simply pigment ink. I know Colorbox has a white, although I'm not sure what you will find at Michael's. We don't have an AC Moore here. Just check the label for pigment ink.

Thanks, Melody. Stampin Up's classic ink pads (which is all I have) dry real fast and don't smear. They have a Craft ink pad that takes much longer to dry and I didn't like them. I just assumed Craft was a special kind. I'll check the craft stores and see what I can find with pigment ink in white! See you here on Fri. night!

Acetate or window sheets are the equivalent to the overhead sheets that teachers use, correct?

Yes but I've seen some on here say those "transparencies" don't work quite as well as the acetate sheets you buy for stamping. Others have said they work fine.

Transparencies/overheads tend to be a bit "gray". But they will work just fine.

Hmmmm.....I think what I have used is overhead transparencies.....smooth on one side and slightly bumpy on the other (I believe that is the side that is supposed to be printed on....). I've never had a problem with them.....I would only say that they might be thinner than window sheets??

For transparencies, check out places like Office Depot or Office Max. I've gotten the ones that are supposed to be write-on (used for overhead projectors) rather than for printers (if you can still find them). They don't have any coating. They also come in different weights (thin, med. or heavy weight). Even if you can't find the write-on ones, the office stores carry some for printers. Probably the minimum size package will be at least 10 sheets.
FYI: the coating will wash off with warm water if you want to remove it... (umm, don't ask how I know this).

Um, yeah! All of my ancient plastic report covers are totally scratched up! I didn't get to Micheal's the other day, so I will have to go after work tomorrow!

OK, I won't ask, I'll guess! You are a teacher and you were correcting papers and/or lesson planning in your hot tub. (I used to work in the sauna. hehehe)

I am sorry but I am super confused.....
There are different days and times listed everywhere. Is it tonight instead of tomorrow night and is it 6-10 or 7-11?

I will be able too. The SCS home page says tonight. I guess that is why I was confused. Thanks

Didn't find any acetate window sheets. I did come up with a couple of transparencies like you run through a copier. Hope these will work OK.

I just wanted to add that when I first wanted to try stamping on acetate, I asked the Copy Center at Office Max if I could buy just a few transparencies, and they let me. When I discovered I liked it, I bought a box of 100 sheets. The kind I have are Office Depot brand "Black and White Copier" Transparencies. They are crystal clear. I did my Christmas cards with them last year.

I'm excited for tonight! I won't be able to play real time unless my DD goes to play at her grandmother's house, but I should be able to play later on tonight after she goes to bed!
