SEP07VSNO -- Sat 8 P.M. EST -- Stamp Two-Step ~~ Chat Thread
The Stamp Two-Step
Autumn Fairy Hostess: Peggy Sue(peggysue)
Keyword: SEP07VSNO
Time: 8:00 PM EST, Sat
In Autumn as the trees’ leaves fall from their branches in the early stages you have leaves on the ground, in the air and still on the trees. Same image yet in different locations and such a different look.
For this challenge, you need to create a card that uses the same stamp for your background layer as you do for the main image. Whether bold and bright or subtle and shaded, let’s see how creative you can be using one stamp that plays a double role as both the star and supporting cast. You may also use a sentiment on your creation, or a subtle textured background to accompany your other image.
Please see the examples below to get your creativity flowing and remember, you can always post questions on the challenge thread. Thanks for playing! (p.s. no matter how many times I rotate the picture, the apples insist on laying sideways, so when looking at that thumbnail, tilt your head a little)
Challenge Gallery Here
Uploading Instructions:
*You have 45 minutes to complete this challenge
*Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. If you are using additional keywords, you must separate them with a comma. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
*It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.

So I thought this would be EASY ... surprisingly not so! My boots didn't quite work as well as I had thought for the b/ground ... always the way!

Sunflower background and foreground. I barely made the deadline to finish. All that cutting out really took time.

This was a fun challenge! I didn't think I was going to finish it in time due to having to stamp while the dogs were barking at their reflections in the window! Very annoying! And then uploading takes forever on dial-up!
But I did finish and I am happy with how it turned out! Here it is:

Voila it is done. It became a highschool reunion Wine & Cheese Invitation in our highschool colours. I tried using my new Prismacolor colored pencils, but I am not sure I like them. Hope you like the card.

Thank you Beth for that fine comment. As Beth so glibly pointed out, you don't have to stamp the challenges this evening! You have until upload time on Sunday afternoon to pull out your stamps and ink.
Beth you're a sweetheart.
