MAR20VSNO Inchie Tiles ~ Saturday, March 28, 2020 ~ 7 pm ET
Challenge Title: Inchie Tiles with Flowers Hostess: annsforte3 aka: Ann Keyword: MAR20VSNO Date: Saturday, March 28, 2020
Welcome to Florapalooza! So glad you are joining in the fun!
My challenge for you is to make flower inchie tiles! First find a special floral stamp, then stamp that image on your cardstock and color as desired.
When done coloring, cut your image into one-inch square pieces. Combinations of either three or four across and three or four down will work best to show off your image.
Now, using a black pen or black marker highlight the sides of EACH square, running your pen or marker along the edges of EACH square. Let dry!
Now comes the magic shine of a tile. Using clear embossing powder, heat emboss each square two or three times each to get that nice thick shine on each square. If so desired, you may use glossy accents instead of heat embossing.
Arrange your squares on your background, making sure to attach them with the same spacing between each square. Use foam tape or dimensionsals to attach your tiles to the base card.

I thought I was saving time by using this stamp over a gel print. Would have gone well, but my glue wasn't working right. MAR20VSNO IC747 Summertime T... by Lori "Artzadoni"

well, I did not read the instructions obviously and I spent a lot of time stamping this and trying to get the squares to line up square that in the end I ended up cutting the full image down to fit and some of the "tiles" got trimmed to fit that. I had it in my head I could cut the whole square image with the inch dies but, the sizes just did not line up.
Well, that will teach me! Read the full challenge description before making the card!! I saw the challenge title and just thought "inchies with a floral theme" so ended up making this:
It doesn't exactly follow the instructions but I was so happy with how it turned out, I decided to post it anyway. If I have time, I'll make another card the way I'm supposed to!

Well, I read the instructions, but I'm sure my card took waayyyy longer than the 60-minute limit! But here it is anyway: Hydrangea Tiles
