Anyone who has children can tell you that traveling with them can sometimes be a challenge! My challenge to you is to create a travel game to keep the kids occupied while on your Getaway!
Directions:
Trim 8 1/2 x 11 card stock lengthwise at 6 1/2 inches
Score from bottom at 7 inches. Your top should have 4 1/2 inches of card stock.
Fold top over and decorate as desired.
Secure sticky tape on page protector at top of open side and secure to card stock under the front flap. Flap should fold over to close pouch.
Use either a velcro closure on underside of flap and front of page protector or punch notches on either side of the flap and wrap ribbon around to close.
The games for inside the pouch are up to your imagination!
Uploading Instructions:
You have 45 minutes to complete this challenge.
Be sure to upload to the Kids Gallery ( not the regular SCS Gallery ) so well be able to locate the cards for judging.
Upload to : Gallery/Special Collections/Id Like to Thank the Little People
When uploading, be sure to use the appropriate challenge keyword for age group:
* Ages 0-4 MARCH07VSNG04
* Ages 5-8 MARCH07VSNG58
* Ages 9-12 MARCH07VSNG912
* Ages 13-17 MARCH07VSNG1317
* Adults MARCH07VSNGADULT
If you are using additional keywords, you must separate them with a comma.
Copying and pasting the keyword is recommended to avoid typos
It is recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.
If you have any questions, Ill be available in the chat thread. Happy Stamping!

Here is my entry. Only my 2nd ever VSN so please be kind! I don't have kids but I followed the template leaning more towards a purse look. Hope that's ok! When I was uploading, it wouldn't let me enter all the details so I will return later and add those.
I can't play until later this afternoon, have a couple of meetings to attend. Last night was so much fun. I was surprised that I was able to do all the cards in the alotted times--that's why I'd never participated before. Well, off to 1st meeting. You all have fun. BBL.

I don't understand the directions If you cut a 61/2 inch piece and then score the 11 inches at 7 you only have 4 inches left at the fold. then what do you score to make the pouch? Confused
I am confused too! Was there an answer to the question about the measurements? Can you give us the total dimensions of the card stock and the score lines? sorry to be a pain.

The pocket is made from a clear 6x6 scrapbook page protector. The scoring makes a back to mount the protector on and a flap to use as the close flap. Make sense?
The watercoloring is quick and a little "sloppy" and there aren't any matching images (yet) since we only had the 45 minutes, but here's my Old Crab Game and Game Cards.
The girls worked on this today with a friend. I think they enjoyed it. Unfortunately I didn't get photos of their buddies pouch, but here are Lauren's
and Lexi's
