JUN13VSND ~ Friday, June 7 ~ 8pm EST ~ Three Cheers for the Red, White & Blue
Title: Three Cheers for the Red, White and Blue
Hostess: Kelly - Sunstamper
Keyword: JUN13VSND
Day/Date: Friday, June 7
Time: 8:00pm EST
Summer = Independence Day
Independence Day = July 4th
July 4th = Red, White and Blue!
I can’t think of summer without also thinking about one of my favorite holidays, Independence Day. July 4th is hot dogs, fireworks and the good ol’ Red, White and Blue!
My challenge for you is to create a card using the colors of red, white and blue. It CAN have a patriotic theme but it doesn’t have to.
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday June 10.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. We have a special gallery for the Dogs Days of Summer VSN. When you click on Member Galleries to access the drop-down list, either scroll to the very bottom of the list (or just hit the End key which will take you straight there), and upload to that gallery.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword JUN13VSNI when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen. Thanks so much for playing along!!

Periodically I invite similarly passionate paper crafters to my house for a Paper Tricks afternoon. I prepare a few projects for the tricksters to try. This was one of the cards from the last event. Well, one of the tricksters leads our paper crafting "club" at a nearby craft store. She decided to demo the inlaid die cut trick last Monday night when we met-- but the store manager wouldn't let her use the star border, since it wasn't inventory. Eventually, we (Yes. She flubbed it and I stepped in. Buttinski that I am.) demo'd the trick using a much more detailed Spellbinder's borderability. Honestly folks! It doesn't have to be complicated!

Hmm. Well, I actually have two cards for this challenge, but my camera battery is dead and my phone pictures are apparently too big for the gallery. Soooo, I'll be back in a couple of hours with my cards.

You sound like me. My card reader in my laptop quit working! I figured out how to photo with my mini iPad, and email it to my laptop. Then I have to rename it because Lydia says all iPad photos are same and have to be renamed. So now it takes longer to photo and upload than to make the card! LOL
I will try these challenges tomorrow. Love a red white and blue card! Why do these things always happen during VSN?

I was so busy this weekend and didn't get to participate. I squeezed in this one on Sunday afternoon but didn't have time to upload, then I tried uploading late on Monday and the server was down. Oh, well, I thought I was share anyway.
