AUG11VSNA Friday, August 26th ~ Time 5:00 pm EST ~ THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKING
Title: These boots were made for walking...
Hostess: Jen (superjen)
Keyword:
AUG11VSNA
Day/Date: Friday, August 26th
Time: 5:00pm EST
Are you ready to hit the trail? Put on your best work boots and cowgirl up!
I love cowboy boots and not entirely because they make cowboys look so darn gooooood. That and those Wranglers! I love the variety in textures, colors, toes, heels, everything! But I especially love the stitching. It seems that no two boots are alike, just like fingerprints or snowflakes.
So if you are like me and actually prefer to stamp in flip flops (or slippers if it's winter) put on your virtual boots. The challenge here is an easy warm-up for the dusty trail ahead.
USE STITCHING - REAL OR FAUX - ON YOUR PROJECT!
I've included a sample and some inspiration below.
VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE
HERE
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 8:00PM EST ON Monday, August 29th
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, AUG11VSNA when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen. I look forward to seeing your work!

Squee!! No boots for me - I cracked my ankle so hard on the glass shower door this morning that I'll be flip flopping for a while, so my boots are virtual too!
But I faux stitched my hiney off!
One of my fave techniques so THANK you for a GREAT challenge idea!

My boots were confiscated when I moved from AZ to Chicago. Must find a new pair. Absolutely cannot do without some Justin Ropers or some Lucchese boots. Maybe I'll go with lizard this time. Hmm...that could work since I no longer have cows!
