Variations
Try watercolor
Use a watercolor brush and re-inkers instead of the brayer. Works best on regular (not glossy) paper.
Rub it
Use a stamp or other rough surface to make a crayon "rubbing" on your paper, instead of stamping with ink.
Crumple it
Crumple your paper then smooth it back out before Step 3.
More crayons
Try other crayon colors (lighter colors tend to give the best effect) or combine colors

Yes, you need glossy cardstock!
Yes, glossy cardstock or maybe something else that is slick? Be creative if you can find something else that works, let us know!

Not a crayon in the house!
Note to self: buy crayons the next time I'm at Wal-Mart or JoAnn's. I just checked out the technique section and love how this one turns out. Thanks for the idea.

Thanks rosowskimom, I went and read the instructions and will try to do it alone. Emma says "Hi Mommy". Good thing you gave me a brayer.

You can use regular cs for this!!!! DOES NOT HAVE TO BE GLOSSY! You can also use a versamarker instead of a crayon!

You can also use a birthday candle for the crayon.

Crayon Resist
Oh my gosh I CANNOT BELIEVE this!! I was just sitting down thinking about a technique I had NOT tried before and I chose Crayon Resist!!!! Which category should I put it under? I guess here and I can do another technique that I haven't tried later tonight and post it before tomorrow morning!!
Gee I just uploaded it and it doesn't even show where my card is pending.. I'll try again in a few! But in the meantime I'll trot over to look at the other challenges!
*edited*
Oh my gosh I just realized.. NO... It was the MELTED CRAYON background that I did as a technique I never tried!!! *embarrassed* OK, Crayon Resist... a different card.. I got it. I'm going to do this! I got too excited and thought too fast, I guess!

My first try at this-I think I need to make the crayon a bit darker or something. Maybe you can give me some tips.
I've seen a card similar to this on SCS-it seemed simple enough.
All the cards posted tonight have been awesome-getting lots of great ideas!
