There's also a great free photo editing program, Picasa.
It gives you the option to export your photos (I export mine to a specific folder I've set up for SCS uploads); when the export window comes up, you can resize your photo and also add a watermark to your photo.

Thanks for the tips on resizing photos. I did it with the Microsoft Picture Manager and it worked great. Like the tip on saving all resized photos for SCS in a separate folder ready for any upload. Thanks again. Getting ready for VSN. Went down to buy some felt but stores here all closed for Remembrance Day. Had to dig but finally found my bits in with my quilt batting supplies.

One other picture resizing source...I use picresize.com for mine. I just pick custom size and then I can choose how many pixels I want. Have to do them one at a time, though.

I just clicked on a link to this thread in one of UnderstandBlue's posts.
What is VSN? I know it's Virtual Stamp Night ... but is it weekly, monthly an annual affair? Whatever it is, I want to play! I'm in California, pacific coast time. So I guess whatever it is kicks off at 2 p.m. my time ... 15 minutes from now.

I'm a little apprehensive now. I have very few "wintery" stamps. I hope I'm going to be able to play each challenge. I guess time will tell and I think we are down to 10 minutes!

Yikes ... just saw a VSN supply list. I have most of the stuff ... but where to find it?
I went to a retreat last weekend (but didn't put anything away) and spent Sunday night hurrying to complete the HYCCT challenges and now my cramped little craft room, junk room, office is a disaster!
My son said it looks like it was hit by an earthquake, followed by a tornado and finished off by a trampling from our big ol' pooch. Sadly ... it's even worse than that! LOL
