A Meadow Full of Color
Maiden Hostess: Nutsymuhl (Kim)
Code/Keyword:
MAY07VSNI
Time: SAT 2 pm
What’s the best thing about flowers? All the colors to choose from of course! I have a really hard time deciding… pink, red, yellow, blue? Don't you wish they came in multiple colors with multiple shades? Now they can!
We're going to use the baby wipe technique to make our own color combos.
To view a tutorial on how to do the baby wipe technique check out this tutorial by Beate :
Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Use your imagination and come up with some great color combos for any image!

Sounds great! I've never tried this technique before, but it looks fun. I'm off to the zoo now, but I'll play later. :-)

I forgot to buy new baby wipes when I went shopping this week - so the baby wipes situation is quite drastic here (I also use them to clean my stamps) - but I was able to get mine made

Hmmm, do you have markers? I wonder if you saturate the wipe with the tip of a marker, if that would work.

I'll try that - I already tried color wash and that didn't work. I'll let you know if the markers work. Thanks.

Maybe you could press your ink pad against the wipe in areas too

I just got some re-inkers for a similar technique...this was lots of fun....I think I will need more colors if I want to do it more often.

The only solid surface stamp I have is a crooked square but it stamped a cool bg. May I use it and then stamp an image over it?
