I love "Frozen"! It's now one of my favorite animated films and that is saying a lot! I live in Southeast Texas and we pretty much need Elsa and her magical snow powers to get anywhere near enough snow for a snowman. Growing up, my grandmother had a little water globe with a hat, carrot, and three little black rocks floating in it. The caption? Texas Snowman. ;)

My challenge to you is to make a card with water. You can use an image of water, use a watercoloring technique, or any other way you can work water into your project!

Hey everybody!

I have made a snowman in Texas once. It was Dec 2010. That is the only time we've hard now stick to the ground that I can remember. In my neck of Texas that is!

Oh boy, you are forcing me to use watercolor again! I am in the learning process! Thanks for being hostess and for all you are doing for us!

Wow, what a mess. As I link this I am feeling that keeping on smiling, as exhorted by my sentiment, is about the only thing to do. It's that or cry - especially since it's the first time I've had a re-inker spill for a LONG time. I was rushing too much; I should have abandoned plan A when it was obviously not coming together.

Snow Friends with Heart

hey Paula, i wanted to show you what happens to the water in the bird bath if we don't plug it in. It's been in the forties so i unplugged it and last night the temps dropped again.

A few years back we purchased this bird bath with a plug in to keep the water open for our feathered friends. It's uncanny how they know not to bathe in it in the winter time. Smart little things. Bird Brain?? i think they are clever.
