Oh my Sharon, when you take these kids in some of them may not know any other way of life and you were put in their path for a reason. Grounding her will send an important message and it will make you feel better. What gets me is the lying, when they know I have caught them and yet they lie anyway. We are all learning and growing every single day of our lives and this is painful growth for both of you. Good thing that you have a responsive State worker. I would also go through everything they take with them including the clothes they have on them when they leave. May be the worker could help you with that too. Keep your chin up, you are doing an amazing job with this important work.
