SEPTVSNA-6:00-"Spice It Up!!!"
SPICE IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!
Go run to your kitchen! Use whatever spices or herbs you have around on a card. Use heat and stick powder with cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg . Glue on cloves, thyme, basil, bay leaves, ectIf it comes from your spice rack, feel free to use it.
Put SEPTVSNA as your keyword for this challenge.
PLEASE do not use any chili powders with heat and stick powder! This is personal experience speaking. Your throat and eyes will probably swell and you wont like breathing for a bit. I was making Seasoned Greetings Christmas card a couple of years ago using a chili pepper stamp and some chipotle powder. BAD idea..
How to use heat and stick.
1] Stamp image with VersaMark .
2] Apply Heat & Stick powder to the inked image. Shake off excess powder.
3] Heat image with the heat tool just until powder turns to liquid. Do not overheat.
4] Pour glitter onto the inked image, making sure that the image is coated completely.
5] Shake off excess glitter.
6] Heat again briefly to set.
instead of glitter use spices....
The cards below.
The thyme card was stamped with versamark with the Lace Background stamp. I mixed (about a tablespoon) of cinnamon and allspice together. Then I added teaspoon of gold pearlex to it. I stippled the gold spice mixture onto the versamarked background. This card smells fabulous!!!!
I used the sticky strip and poppy seeds to make the road on the second card.
I also used the sticky strip to stick lavender on the third card. There is also glitter mixed in with the lavender.

Clear embossing powder works, just make sure you do not plan to pour back in what you use. That is what I used. In fact, any color embossing would work, just don't use spices that will sting your eyes when heated ;)
