Title: Let's Spin the Wheel! The Color Wheel!

When I first heard the theme of this VSN, my first thought was of the Color Wheel! And how OPPOSITE COLORS on the color wheel do 'attract' or rather compliment each other. Sooo, my challenge for you today is to use 2 colors on the color wheel that are OPPOSITE from each other! Here is a picture of the color wheel that I googled to give you some ideas:
In my sample I used the colors Blue and Orange....and I do admit, I thought there is NO way I can use these colors together! UNTIL....I saw them together and I am totally loving these colors together now, lol!

Get ready to jump from sweaters and mittens to shorts and flip flops!!!!
Opposite seasons.....specifically winter and summer.....are the theme for this challenge! I always think of our huge family of stampers all around the world are experiencing opposite seasons at any time. Yeah....that will make your head spin to think about! Well.....you all know what I mean! ;)
So this challenge is to make TWO tags......one for summer and one for winter. I used the same stamp company.....Lili of the Valley....and just picked a summer and a winter image. I wanted the tags to look similar except for the seasons they represent. But you can make your two tags however you'd like as long as they reflect each season!

When I heard about the theme for this Virtual Stamp Night, I thought about opposite colors. There is such a dramatic effect to having a mostly neutral project with a pop of color. That one vibrant color really draws your eye! So my challenge to you is to use only neutral colors (black, white, gray, kraft) in your project with ONE pop of color . Make sure you love the item with the pop of color, because it will be the star of the show!

Opposites Attract VSN Mini Master Challenge Thread
Title: Men & Women

When I think opposites, I think about how I approach creating cards for the different genders. For me, I have a set of rules that I follow. For instance I never use lace on a masculine card (that doesn't mean it can't be done - I just find it easier to avoid it ;) ).
Translating that into a challenge was actually pretty easy...
My challenge is to create 2 cards using the same stamp set, but make one of them masculine, and the other feminine. Of course, your cards can be for adults, teens, or children - as long as one is masculine and one feminine.
Bonus points for incorporating any of the following (but NOT required):
Using the same image (not just set)
Using the same layout
Chose a stamp set that is more one gender than another (i.e., a floral set).
Need help? Here are my rules (this is NOT the only way, just how I work):
Masculine:
Texture patterns (i.e., woodgrain)
No pink or purple
No ribbon (twine is fine)
Distressing
Feminine:
Pink
Lace & Ribbon
Flowers
Scripty fonts
I don't include everything on the lists, but they are my starting point.

My challenge is a 2 card challenge, so you will have 90 min to make your cards. One card is your comfort zone... go to stamping style. The other one... is the opposite of your comfort zone.
My comfort zone is a few layers, black, white + one other color, ALWAYS, always coloring... so the opposite of that for me is zero coloring & pink... ICK!!!!
Looking forward to seeing what y'all come up with on this!
