Saturday 8:00 pm EST ~ JAN08VSNO ~ Hats Off to You ~ Chat Thread
Title: Hats Off to You
Hostess: Jen (jen70)
Keyword: JAN08VSNO
Day/Date: Saturday, January 19th
Time: 8:00 PM EST
In honor of the ladies who wear many hats in their families, from nurse to taxi cab driver, I'm challenging you to make a card with a hat on it. It may be a stamp, sticker, pre-made embellishment, or die cut. The hat may be the main image, or the main image may be wearing the hat. It could even be a hat-shaped tag. Be creative!
Here are some examples of hats to get you thinking:
graduation hats
birthday hats
snowmen hats
Santa hat
red hat society
football helmet
baseball cap
cowboy hat
a crown
witches hat
sun visor
chef's hat

Jen, great idea..although right now with the sub-zero wind chill factor outside, the only hat I want is warm and fuzzy....ummmmmm an idea.
Off to see what I can come up with.

This one took some thought and some looking through my stamp index but I found a hat(the warm fuzzy one someone was wanting) in the SU set Merry!- Used the hat, stamped in white craft on Night of Navy, dried with heat tool, cut out, tore a snowman head from white, punched out blue eyes and cut a carrot nose, then stamped, colored , cut out and matted on Night of Navy Amanda House Mouse pointing----Adhered both to a Buckaroo Blue base and stamped merry! from the Merry set first in Versamark and then in Night of navy over it to create sort of a shadow effect. Fun!!! Maybe it will snow tonight.....Gotta go--DH has supper ready again tonight--he's folding laundry right now. LIfe is good.
