Girls' Night Out--you know things are going to get wild when it starts with

A DRIVE & A DOUBLE DOG DARE!

On the recent VSN follow up threads in Demo Chit Chat and General Stamping Talk, a number of folks said they hadn't played in VSN because they didn't want to end up with a card they wouldn't use.

Well ladies (and very cool stampin' gents), it's time to loosen up!

Hop in your VSN convertible, put the top down, adjust your shades, turn the radio up loud and take a spin through the Card Drive thread in Need a Lift.

Cruise the threads--yes, there are even some especially (but not exclusively!) for UK and Canadian players--and find the drive that suits you.

Now make your card
and
send it to the requested address!

Oh, did you want some parameters for this challenge?

Okay, use a dog (or dog-related) image in your creation, if you dare. . . or a chicken (or bird or penguin) if you don't. . . or a cat, if you're catty enough to comment that a penguin's not a bird. . .or a snake (or other reptile), if you're tempted. . . or an elephant, if it'll help you remember. . . or a monkey, if you just came along to hang out. . . or any other beast that brings out the wild party animal in you. . . or no animals at all, if your first thought was

Parameters?
We don't need no stinkin' parameters--
it's Girls' Night Out!

Whatever drive you choose for Girls' Night Out, KISS (Keep It Simple, Stampers) & just do it--that's A DOUBLE DOG DARE!

Sometimes when you organize a Girls night Out you like to play it by ear and at other times you need to have some sort of a plan of what you are going to do. It wouldnt be much fun if you all ended up at different places all on your own! And having a plan often means you can get more done in the night!

One of my favorite challenges on SCS has to be the sketch challenge so I was thrilled when I was asked to host this one today. My challenge to you is to create a card using the sketch below. I have kept this sketch fairly simple as I know there are lots of sketches out there at present many of them not so simple. Sometimes it is good to get back to basics! Dress it up or down as much as you wish as long as you keep to the sketch provided.

What's a girl to do on a Girls Night Out? Enjoy a few of your favorite cocktails, of course. Sometimes we lose control and have a few too many. (remember those days?). My absolute favorite drink is a Mangotini. Its so sweet and yummy, and they do go down way to easy. I don't lose control, but oh boy does the head hurt the next day. Kind of reminds me of the sentiment stamp I have

One martini
Two martini
Three martini
Floor...

My challenge to you is to use the above saying to make a card. Print it out on your computer and use it as the sentiment, if you have a stamp with that saying, use it, or just use it as an inspiration for the card itself.....its up to you! Go wild, have fun, and remember to call a cab!

Abundant Supplies Challenge

I don’t know about you, but there are so many aspects of my life that call for self-discipline, patience, caution, restraint... Even when I stamp, I am mindful not to waste supplies, or make creations with "too much" stuff on them. But when my girlfriends and I go out for a night on the town, we don’t hold anything back. There’s always lots of food, lots of laughter, and lots of FUN!

It is in this spirit that I challenge you to make a card using ABUNDANT SUPPLIES.

Create a card using AT LEAST:

2 stamped images,
4 layers,
6 colors, and
8 embellishments (ribbons, brads, eyelets, buttons, charms, punched shapes, etc.)
