Cav, unfortunately Mom and I still have not seen the twins and they are now 5 months old. We did get some pictures and they have grown so much and you can see their personalities.
I've been busy trying to find a new job since I was let go on April 26th. Had my first and only interview on Monday, waiting to see if I get a call back. Should hear by Tuesday.

Just wondering how you clean a bit-spongy brayer that has never been used?
Will a baby wipe work? Does it need to come all the way back to the same level of clean?
All we have is anti-bacterial hand soap? Will that work, or too strong?
This was a great excuse to go out and buy a brayer finally. I think I should have looked at the sample first though, my colors were too close together, all you can really see is the darkest one. Great challenge!
That was sooo cool! I loved my card till I tried to put a big flower on it! I'll have to find another embellishment!!! I'm glad I finally learned to use a brayer!

Oh Robyn, I have everything crossed for you and wishing you all the good luck in the world for a job!!!!!!
Shame you haven't seen the twins yet but I'm sure you will - they grow up so fast, way too fast, don't they?
I would just use water if the brayer is spongy. If rubber the baby wipe should work. Or just run it over scrap paper until nothing shows on the paper.

I've never washed mine - you just keep rolling it until it doesn't produce any colour any more and then use it on the next colour!!!!! I think - that's what I do anyway - LOL!!!!
Finished mine just under the wire (i.e. the timer went off as I was straightening my last panel!), but my photo studio is currently being used to make dinner, so upload will have to wait.
Wow this was a new technique for me! I don't thitnk I've ever put ink on my brayer before, can you believe it?!? I sure had fun with this! I definately think I'll be doing some more experimenting though, this one came out a little muddy. Awesome challenge!
Yes - just upload the card to your gallery, and then view the card, copy the address from the address bar, and come back here and paste it. Can't wait to see!
This is the kind of stuff that makes VSN so fun... kinda forces you to try new things! Alot of times when I see new techniques in the gallery, I want to try them... but never get around to it. But with VSN, you just give it a try NOW! Sometimes you get a winner, and other times not... but it is always fun! Thanks for the technique!
wow...another fun tech...although I need first of practice and then some actual stamp pads....I haven't gotten into brayering or such yet so the only stamp pads in colors I have are the small spots....I tried but ended up looking like tie dye....but perfect for my 50 yr. old friend finally graduating....something to crow about...
Loved this technique but since I don't have a brayer I tried it with sponges. I liked the way it worked. Also, I am using your challenges on scrap book pages. Hope this is okay. Here is my Just Me page
