Title: BINGO! Hostess: Peggy (pegmac71) Keyword: MAY09VSNG Date: Saturday May 16th, 2009 Time: 2pm EST
From the rooms at the Terrible's Casino to the 600 seat Boulder Station Hall, Vegas loves BINGO!! Las Vegas BINGO is not your Midwestern grandmother's bingo game! It's a little more complicated and a lot more intense. The game has its own lingo and it takes some time to figure out. Don't expect to be playing just one card at a time - you'll generally be juggling multiple cards! Each card you play is shaped like a square. The numbers are called and broadcast on a screen, and players use daubers to mark off the called numbers on their cards. Winning shapes go beyond straight lines and coverall; some rooms have winning shapes like "crazy kite," "triple postage stamp" and more. It sounds overwhelming, but with some practice anyone can get the hang of it!
My Challenge to you is to make a card using a grid technique (like a Bingo card~ squares, rectangles, embossing folders, scor-pal/it). In making your card you must use a "sponging" technique.
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON MONDAY MAY 18TH
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image.
4. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.
I'll bet it's not, just yet. Never fear! I learned to score before there were scor-pals!
Glad to see you Ky!! I have a new toy for my cat...its a laser pointer. He already knows when you pick it up that he has to get in his "pounce" stance!!

Oh how FUN! We have one, but we used all the batteries up. Need to get more batteries. Who knew the cats would use more batteries than the kids??
Just as long as the bunnies don't develop a battery habit...

Such a fun question! I remember sitting on my dad's lap while he played cards with friends. He'd say - there's a one-eyed Jack...and I'd puzzle over that for the longest time! I thought everyone had 2 eyes! Some years later I asked, and found out what he meant. BOBL!! The eyes of a child...
