MAY09VSNF ~ Sat. May 16,2009 ~ 1PM EDT ~ CSI: Las Vegas
Title: CSI: Las Vegas
Hostess: Michelle (mybelle101)
Keyword: MAY09VSNF
Date: May 16th, 2009
Time: 1:00 PM EDT
Most people think lights, gambling, shows, fancy hotels, food, and shopping when they think of Vegas. Me? I think
CSI ! The original, the best, and my favorite TV show!
The amazing CSI team in Vegas *always* gets the bad guy...even if it's a season or two later, and even if the bad guy has *tried* to trick them. How do you try trick the CSI team? By
FRAMING someone else, of course!
So...
My challenge to you is to create a card (or project) using a FRAME.
You could stamp on the inside of your card and use dies or punches to create the frame on the front, you could add a frame embellishment, you could alter an actual frame for an inspiration quote...the possibilities are only as limited as your imagination (and those criminals can be pretty imaginative, so try to keep up!) ;)
The one rule: simply matting with layers of card stock under your image DOESN'T COUNT! It needs to be something *above/over* and *around* the image. You can cut frames from card stock with punches or dies, just make sure there's an opening for your image, and the frame is a layer *on top* of the stamped layer. (Don't make me get those CSIs on you!)
**See below for some samples **
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EDT ON TUESDAY MAY 19th
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MAY09VSNF) when uploading your image.
4. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.
You can find the gallery for this challenge

Oh Sandy, you really should see it... (I'll warn you though, it's addictive!) CSI Vegas really is the best, though.

I just really noticed the time! I have a baby shower to attend in less than 3 hours. I need a shower, don't have a card made or the gift wrapped! I had better get cracking!

Great samples, ladies!
Trish, I'm actually trying to talk DH into ditching the satellite...we rarely watch TV, and then it's usually recorded stuff, so we'd be fine with netflix and season dvd's
