Off for a good restful sleep so I can play hard tomorrow! It will be a 7am start here in Australia. I have even had a big craft space clean up in preparation!

Went out yesterday to pick up a couple of the items for tonight and tomorrow. Couldn't justify buying alcohol inks (and an alcohol ink applicator) so I may have to punt and see what I can do for that one - I've got some ideas. I'll know better when I see the challenge. I Googled "how to make alcohol inks". I already had the UTEE so bought feathers and cheesecloth. Will clean my craft space today.....

UTEE is listed in the thread where unusual supplies are listed for this weekend's challenges. It's the extra thick embossing powder. Mine is white and it's the only stuff I have so hopefully it will work.
Lynn, is it white white ( solid white? ) or dries clear kind of UTTE? ( you need the see through kind) (or diamond glaze would work too)
The container says white so I'm assuming it would melt and dry white. Guess there are two challenges I'll have to skip. I don't know what diamond glaze is so I know I don't have it. Wondering if Crystal Laquer is similar to diamond glaze? I did a Google Search and it said diamond glaze is a clear drying adhesive.

I'm trying to mix it up with Mix-Ability every Friday (little behind!)
The batteries in my camera just died, so I'm suggesting everyone add an extra set of batteries to their VSN supply list. Luckily there were extras in the camera case.

Diamond glaze is a clear liquid glue that dries dimensonally..
I am not sure what crystal laquer is but, I know that SU is supposed to have a version of diamond glaze glue and if so its the same stuff ( I think )
The UTEE I have looks whitish in the jar but dries clear.
I tried mine out (UTEE) and it definitely melted white. I'm hoping crystal lacquer will work but until I see the challenge I won't know..... My craft room is clean and I'm just waiting for 4:00 CST.
I got my Moms wash done, my house cleaning done, and am down here at my computer, stalking. Leftover soup for supper. I guess I should make sure my craft room is ready

Is it just me & my printer or what? I tried printing it from work and there were no gridlines. I tried using a ruler to draw in the lines but the font was so small that the sections ended up being way too small for me to write much in. Is there something I need to do differently? I tried editing the form once I saved it but it is an un-editable format it seems.
I ended up just rewriting it in a notebook but for future reference, I need to know what to do differently.
Cant' wait. Craft room's a mess but whats new there. lol
Hey Lynn, the shopping list has a note that a challenge has been changed and no alcohol inks are needed, so apparently you won't have to set up a still and make moonshine inks.

1st time attendee of VSN - only saw the announcement a couple of hours ago
Found some cheesecloth I bought years ago for a halloween project that never got made (story of my life); feathers might be harder as my cat shreds any that come into the house. Perhaps I can steal a few from his toys?
Hi Sarah! If you click on the web address when you are on your card just copy and paste that into a post to that specific challenge. I hope that made sense! I'm in a zillion directions tonite! LOL
