I played until all three lights in my office burned out. I decided that was a sign for me to stop, LOL.

Not that bad of a mess. My kids rooms look like that all the time! :lol: My DD( and I had a blast. This is the second VSN she has done with me and it's fun. She gave up at 10:00 and I gave up at 11:00 when I couldn't keep my eyes open (didn't sleep the night before) and then only got 4 hours last night! :rolleyes: Oh well, I'll sleep at my desk tommorrow.

HI everyone!

Just a little note to let you know that one of my hostesses is having internet issues today. She can't get on to judge her cards but she says she will do it as soon as she can. SORRY for the delay and I"m sure she's just as anxious to get it done as you are to see the winners!

I won one of the contests last time.. I got a wonderful little goodie bag filled with some fibers, a small heart stamp, some buttons, a little plastic picture folder, a some other little things. It was just a bunch of wonderful trinkets.

My guess is that it won't be posted until tomorrow!! Torture!! I'm actually happy though that I was a hostess and I know who I chose for my cards, so that makes it easier for me! I don't even care if I won, I just can't wait to see who else gets some fantastic prizes from such great challenges!

As far as prizes the first time I won a gorgeous stamped comp book and some gold/silver cord. The second VSN my friend won a make your own spectrum pad thingy (she knew what it was for thank goodness) some eyelets, beads, mulberry paper and 1 other thing. All cool prizes and remember we all contribute to the prize pot to help the corrdinators so keep that in mind if you have extra items you can send for the next one. Nope, I stamped with a friend who is also a stamper and she got me hooked on VSN.

This is what, boulderstamper had to say about the Aug VSN...

"Sorry if I am incorrect in this and I can't find the post atm to verify. But I was under the impression that there were 3 coordinators for VSN who were splitting up the months. Those were Mamakimberly, Texaslonghorns, and Graciesmom. I am sure they will post a date soon."

This thread was just to pass the time while we anxiously wait for the names. � Thanks for telling us about the things that have been won in prior VSNs!

The first time we did VSN I won a prize and I got cording(lots and lots), tags, and some other things..

The thing to remember about the prizes is that they are little enough to send in an envelope to cut down on the cost of postage! Also, the prizes are donated each month so they are almost always going to be different.

That being said.. I too would like to know what people get this time around.

I'm also excited about the winner's list being posted! VSN was so much fun! I can't wait until the next one! I wasn't able to do the first 2, so I'm playing catch up, I guess!

For the first VSN I received some sticker patches, 2 playing cards with martinis on them, some cord and some eyelets. For the second VSN I received a bunch of ribbon, eyelets, cord and some mounting square similar to su's dimensionals.

But I have so much fun playing, that if I didn't get any prizes, it would be absolutely ok.

For the first VSN, I received samples of organdy ribbon and 2 martini playing cards. For the second VSN, I received brads, buttons, eyelets (some with shapes), a whole role of Offray black & white gingham ribbon, post-it notes, and matchboxes.

As others have said, the prizes are donated so everyone will get something a little different. It's fun to hear what others received!

Anxiously waiting to hear the winners this month. VSN is so much fun! Just thinking out of the box is a prize to me. But I love to hear everyone get so excited when they win!

Hi all,
My internet is down. (I am at a friends house right now) This is the first chance I have had to get to her house when she is avaliable. The tech. says that it is a break in the line somewhere between here and St. Louis which is several hundred miles. So who knows when it will be back up. I am going to go judge my challenge right now. I just wanted to say I was sorry!

Hey - these things happen. Don't sweat it! This is small beans - it's just got to be annoying for you to be *without* the internet - gosh, how we've *all* come to rely on it *SO* much!!!! Do you and your DH communicate via email much? Prayers with you if you do - this is a stressful enough time for you.

That judging was so much harder then I thought it would be. But it's done.

Hope they get your internet up and running real soon. My nephew stays in touch from iraq by net all the time, its such a relief for his wife and my brother to hear from him often! No big deal about us having to wait long as its not brown we are waiting on that is!

I loved your card! I loved all the cards. I didn't realize how hard it would be to choose a winner. I chose my categories a week ago and I had a hard time not changing them. I kept going, ooo I like that card, if I category like that I could pick that one. LOL it was hard though. Everyone did so great!
Anyhow, I am back online. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and my internet was working again! YAY!!!!!! I had tons of messages from my husband too.
