JUL18VSNC ~ Friday, July 13, 7:00 PM ET ~ Reading/Books
Challenge Title: Reading/Books
Hostess: Melody (aka lacyquilter)
Keyword: JUL18VSNC
Date: Friday July 13, 7:00 pm ET
I love to read. In fact, I would rather sit and read a book than go to a party. I can read a complete book in one sitting, if it isn't too long. The type of books I enjoy most are historical romance, especially those set in the regency period. Most historical fiction authors try to keep the history and the geography as accurate as possible, which means you can travel all over the world just by reading.
For my challenge, I want your card to include an image of a book or an old book page. View the gallery for this challenge: HERE

1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10 P. M. EST ON Sunday, July 22nd.
2. You have 1 hour to complete the challenge, unless otherwise noted.....you do not have to count prep time!
3. We have a special gallery for the Staycation VSN.
a) From the "Main Gallery" dropdown list on the first page of the uploader, choose Events and Special Collections.
b) From the Sub-gallery dropdown list, choose Virtual Stamping and Scrapbooking Nights ~ it's the last in the list.
c) From the new sub-gallery dropdown list choose Staycation- it's the very top of the list.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please do not combine VSN challenges...but you may combine any other challenges with a VSN challenge!
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout is seen. THANKS SO MUCH FOR PLAYING ALONG!!!
Melody I am a big reader, too! I can't be without a book for a day or I go nuts. Needless to say the library is my best friend ;) Here's my card using an old page from a Thesaurus.
Melody, I truly enjoyed this challenge. I looked through many stamps before coming upon the one I settled on. Thanks for your challenge. Here's my card.

This was such a fun challenge - I was surprised how many book stamps I had to choose from. Decided on the sweet little boy from Greeting Card Kids - one of my favorite SU stamp sets.
My friend Brenda is going back to school. She was a nurse for years but is going back to get credentials for counseling. This little greeting is for her
