Welcome Hostesses!!! This will be a fun VSN for sure!!! Here is where we can chat....ask questions....get to know each other....just enjoy a little secret spot for VSN hostesses only!!!
Hey y'all! I'm a first time hostess. I'm excited to get to participate at this level!
Here in Austin, Texas it got up to 86 degrees. But at least we cool off at night and it's cool enough to open my windows in the morning. I love cool weather. I love snow, I love sipping hot tea or coffee on my patio!

You don't think you can get way with dropping a bombshell then not telling us where you're going, do you Misti? Out of the country??? Spill...inquiring minds and all!
That's awesome, Misti! Every year my hubby plans his vacation...with his fishing buddy! UGH! It's been a while since we planned one together. Actually, we went to Vegas to see the Eagles in concert a couple years ago. Dang...we need to get out more! I put a bug in his ear though, so at least he's thinking about it now. He owes me a trip to Hawaii, so if he doesn't hurry up and decide, I might have to cash in! LOL!
Kevin won this trip through work. He uses 60 days as it is with archery. It's been at least 6 years since we've had a night without the boys, so I'm going to enjoy this rare treat. The timing really stinks, but I'm going to make lemonade!!!
OK...so I've been peeking around and saw all the work Lee and Misti have been doing to streamline the process and WOWSERS...I'm impressed! You both deserve kudos for keeping the VSN challenges going! WHOOP WHOOP!
I figured I would give details here because it sometimes takes a while to set up the challenge thread. I'm signed up for two challenges. The mini is a photo inspiration, and the main will be a snowball fight...make a project with a snowball. Easy, right? I would LOVE if someone wants to be a sample maker for either (or both) of the challenges!
Here's the photo for the mini...gotta love Pinterest!
Wow, 6 years! We were lucky and Jeff's mom and step-dad took Jeffrey overnight every couple of months. Even if we didn't do anything, it gave him time with his grandparents and us time to relax.
How are the inspiring Olympians doing?

Devin just got his invitation for the Jr. Dream Team Selection camp. He'll go the week after we get back from Curacao to see if he can earn a spot on the Jr. Dream Team. Dylan isn't old enough & is chopping at the bit to "get old" so he can go too!
I know!!! We are so excited to see "our boys" become Olympians!!! And Misti and Kevin would have had more date nights if they'd come visit us! :p We DO have 7 acres that would work for practice! ;)
Tammie....I LOVE that photo!!!!!!
Cher.....I promise we've made it easy peasy! So happy you're hosting!!!!
We head out on our 9 day road trip tomorrow!!!! OMG I still have to clean and pack!!!
We're taking James' folks on a trip to Tetons and Yellowstone for their 59th anniversary!! James is the youngest son...and I think we're the only ones who haven't been on a roadtrip with them yet! So we're looking forward to it!

Hi Cher....great questions! First...here is the Frozen Spreadsheet....so you can see your challenge order and keyword and get an idea on the other challenges.
And yes....since we lost the prize sponsor years ago they can combine challenges. I think we're allowed to offer little prizes as long as they aren't really promoting/endorsing any company. I will check with Lydia for sure though.
Hi Marg! Yes you sure can! Have fun finding great frozen avatars!!!! And I just set up the VSN Frozen chat thread out in the main VSN forum...here's the link and you can link your siggy line to it like I just did.
Waving "Helloooooooooooooooooooooo!" from central Illinois!!
I've been busy in the HYCCT galleries, so I almost forgot to check in here. I swear sometimes SCS is my second home! heehee! My husband is getting used to me commenting in the galleries on my phone while I am sitting in front of the TV these days.
Wait til he finds out there's a VSN just around the corner!
LOVE these stamping events! WooHoo!

Marg, I hope you are feeling better by now. {{{HUGS}}}
It's a gorgeous autumn day here in central IL. If I was a hiker, I'd be on a trail at a nearby state park.
But I'm a stamper, so I am getting nestled in for a fun Sunday afternoon.
Hope to catch up on a few HYCCT challenges that I had skipped. I may even make a dozen Christmas cards. I have 3 designs from previous challenges that I intended to duplicate long before now. Procrastinate much?? You bet I do!
Have a Happy Stampy Day!

Hi y'all! Eeek, I'm getting anxious about this VSN. I've been so busy, and I'm behind on HYCCT. But dh will be gone all week and other than baby sitting right now I'm free the rest of the week. So I will definitely turn my idea into a card and figure out how to do a write up.

Misti, a kidless trip with the husband sounds wonderful, enjoy every minute.
Kim, we are having gorgeous fall weather here, too. Great colors in all the leaves.
Hope you are feeling better Marg!
Went to a Halloween party last night, a lot of cute Elsas and even a super cute Olaf! I tried to talk my 6 year old into being Olaf, but it was a no go for him.
