Our theme for the last VSN of 2014 is "Frozen." We can't wait to see how creative you get with your challenge ideas.
The dates are: Nov. 7, Dec 12 & 13.
Please pm LuvLee AND Scraperwannabe with your idea. If you don't pm both of us, your idea won't be considered. We will let you know around the 20th ish... (;) ;) How's that for an exact date! ;) ) if your idea was chosen. In the event that the same idea or similar idea is submitted, we will go with the one who sends the idea in first.
In the interests of full disclosure, count me in with those who haven't actually seen "Frozen". All I knew about it till yesterday was that it had a snowman called Olaf - and that's only because of cards I've seen coming through the gallery .

Olaf is adorable!!! I saw a clip of his big solo on YouTube. It was the motivation I needed to actually see the full movie. (I thought it was a much better song than the forever-being-played-and-spoofed "Let it Go") We don't have little kids in the house, so we rarely watch Disney stuff. There are actually some very good moral themes in the story...so it is worth watching, in my opinion.
;)

O boy, frozen what's frozen? I start complaining about the cold when the temperature drops below 17 degrees Celsius I don't think we have ever hit 0 here.
Cheers

We don't have kids and we have no problem watching kids films , it's just that Frozen never came up on our radar. I do believe that the last time we actually went to the cinema was to see Ratatouille, and DH might shoot me for this but he still love Tom & Jerry.
Well our kids are grown and no grandkids yet...but hubby and I have no shame if we want to see something! We went to the new muppet movie just the two of us....actually the past 2 muppet movies! LOL

We are the same my DH's all time favourite move is "Ice Age" and my all time favourite is "Monsters Inc." closely followed by the "West Wing" series!! I'm not sure what that says about us.
I actually picked this up at a yard sale last weekend just to watch it to get an idea for hosting a spot... I am still thinking...
the problem is, everytime I think of an idea I think oh for sure someone has that already.
Stacy, I was surprised then did the happy dance when I found out my first idea was available! I just got the perfect Whipper Snapper stamp for it too. Whoop!
Misti, I've got a couple more ideas if you don't get enough hostesses.

I'm more of an Up!, How to Tame Your Dragon & Monsters Inc. Girl myself... ;)
I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy it. EVERYONE is talking about it, so it must be good!
YES!
And the music is tremendous! Even the two-year-olds at church sing along!
And I have to tell you a funny story. One of the young adults at church recently got married. Everyone was there, and there was dancing after. (afternoon, but still dancing) The DJ was taking requests and all the young girls requested "Let it Go". (big surprise! ;) ) So when that came up, the adults gave the dance floor over to the girls. They sang, they did the hand motions, and the dance motions...and the youngest little cutie was only 20 months old, and singing along! The middle school age girls could do the entire scene with all the emotion as well.
