I have to believe everyone has gold somewhere in their stash of supplies -- gold eyelets or brads (don't forget the shaped ones), gold-edged ribbons, gold EP, gold beads, gold embroidery thread, gold charms (even cheap gold earrings you'd sacrifice to the cause of VSN ;)).
LOL! I don't wear gold earrings so if I had one I would sacrifice it.
Unfortunately, I've not been playing VSN (I've been sick in bed for a week and a half), but I had made this card for Faith's challenge a couple of weeks ago.
We had one lady several VSNs back who 'borrowed' a cheap gold-colored necklace from her daughter's dress-up stuff because she didn't have any gold supplies!

Nevermind, you have until MONDAY night to upload. Plenty of time!
We're having company over tomorrow and I have school on Monday, so I have to finish my cards today. But not to worry - you ladies here on SCS have already given me the break I needed (stamping IS hard work!!!) and I just might have some ideas!!! (just don't remind me that my ground meat is almost thawed!! )

Okay...How about a CANDY wrapper??? The are sometimes gold? a piece of broken necklace chain? A PIN??? AN EARRING!!!! Heck, an old button!
Oh...beer bottle caps sometimes are gold! WAIT!!! Gold spray paint!!! You could spray paint something gold!
You girls are going to think I'm crazy but I have NO candy wrappers (I finished all the Dove chocolates yesterday, and they were silver anyway) NO gold pins (they're silver!!) my ears aren't pierced so I have NO earrings, I never wear gold necklaces so I have NO chains, NO gold buttons lurk in my stash, and NO spray paint is on the shelves!!! I promise you I do not live in a cave with stone couches and a fire pit, but I JUST DON'T HAVE ANYTHING GOLD!!!!! Oh, well - it's really nbd!!! I just get to enjoy everyone else's submissions!!

I told my sweetid, NO COOKING, today!! In fact, he went to the bowling center earlier today and won't be back till later. I have had the whole house to myself! Unless the cat decides to visit me and lay on my craft table!

My kitties love to 'help' me stamp too. The bunnies, however, are really good at distressing paper for me!
ACK!! I cannot handle to be in the same room with brussel sprouts! I will take the asparagus!! Just never did acquire a taste for asparagus and there is a horror story associated with brussel sprouts.;)

Speaking of Paul....I saw a post he made on a friends facebook page. She is my best friend from high school that lives in Jacksonville. I about fell in the floor! Small world!
