As a little girl, I remember watching the Mary Tyler Moore Show with my family. I loved the opening song and often danced around to it. At the end of the song, MTM tosses her hat in the air. It's actually a pretty iconic scene in TV history. I saw lots of YouTube clips that highlighted it!

My challenge to you is to create a card or tag or another project that FEATURES a winter hat, scarf, or mittens. This could be for the holidays, a winter birthday, or any other occasion. Let's send some WARMTH to our family & friends!

So fun! I loved this show. Then Came Rhoda with her own show. Such a fun story about the actual hat.

I’m glad you showed that story of her hat. I was going to mention that her bronze statue is on the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis…I’ve seen it many times. I think I saw her “house” many years ago and I know I’ve walked around the lake that she is seen walking around in her Vikings jersey. We proudly claim Mary as one of our own ;)

This was one of my fave shows, too. (We went to a car show over the summer, and one of the cars on display was the convertible MTM is shown washing during the intro to the show. It's funny the random things you run across...)
