HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL THE HOSTESSES..AND THE WHOLE CREW WHO LET THIS WONDERFUL EVENT UNFOLD. I HAD SO MUCH FUN, CHALLENGED MYSELF AND IT TOOK ME TO MY HAPPY PLACE!!!!! HUGS TO ALL!!!!
Thank you to all the hostesses and samplers and anyone else who did a boat load of work on this VSN and for the ones in the past. This VSN theme is very dear to my heart, I know they can't all be.
I know commenting can be overwhelming, I know I'm guilty of not always commenting, although if I've subscribed and received emails for any challenges, I always (eventually) comment, even if it's just one word. And if I'm a host for a challenge, I never miss commenting, even if I have to play catchup. Granted, I don't host that often, just for TLC, once a year for MMTPT and a few times for DTGD or the like. I feel a little sad when I have created something for a challenge and don't receive a comment from the host. Am I expecting too much? I'd really like to know and understand. Thank you. I do so appreciate the comments I do receive and will try to improve my commenting.

I’ve been sad to see the comments lacking the last while in our gallery. I’m guilty too, but if I participate in something I try and comment on that challenge. And with VSN, I did them all so I’m working my way through each challenge and commenting on cards! Let’s do this friends! It doesn’t take long. Set a timer for 15 min. Leave some comments. Go do something when the timer goes off, and then try another session! That’s what I’ve been doing!
After getting all of my cards loaded I have gone back and am leaving more comments. I appreciate all the time and effort and expense (like prizes even) that the hostesses do for us when they plan an event such as this. It is the least I can do for the gratitude I have for the efforts they have put into this. These fun activities keep us alive as a community, and that is what I love best about SCS, i feel so connected to my crafting sisters who share in this form of art with the same passion I have for it.
Commenting on those who may be new to this community, is certainly a way to make them feel welcome and a part..

Yes, comments are such an important part of this community! We all benefit from gallery love! It's especially nice when you conquered a new technique or found a new way to use an old stamp set.
I know I have a lot of catching up to do in the gallery myself. I used Rebekah's recommendation to set a timer for 15 minutes. I got several done, and I'll do it again later tonight.
Just a reminder to you Virtuoso stampers...
You have until tomorrow Wednesday June 30 at 11 pm EDT to list your cards in the Virtuoso thread.
Everyone else, keep commenting! Your nice words might get you some happy mail!!

Hey friends!
I usually would have taken care of prizes by now. But I had some unexpected interruptions at home this week. All is well, but it is late and I am tired right now. I will be drawing numbers and names tomorrow!

Our Happy Mail winners get a card from one of the hostesses. Then we choose 3 people to get something from the moderators, and one big winner who completed all the challenges gets a Virtuoso prize!
I'll be in touch with winners to let them know what they need to do.

Thank you, Kim. Looking forward to a card from one of the hostesses. Great VSN! I did get 12 of the 18 challenges done! The hostesses and challenges were awesome! Thank you everyone who worked on VSN, and everyone else for all their comments and encouragement.
Congratulations on your Virtuoso win, Jean! Congratulations to all other winners!
It was fun to create for these challenges. Thank you to all who worked hard to make these challenges happen.

Wow! I am SOOOO excited to be a virtuoso winner! BRAVA to everyone who contributes to VSN - the organizers and the participants. This was my second time to fully participate in the festivities and it was such a joy - especially after the crazy year (+) we have experienced.
This is such a special community - I aspire to be more active in the year to come.
Thanks again and Happy Monday!!
