Thank you ladies for the inspiring and challenging events, I'm still planning on doing more of them. Life got in the way but I'm not giving up yet. Delighted with all you ladies have done for the scrappers this week.

Yea from me too, I was wishing I could have participated more during VSBN but I am working on pages this week. Your "prep work" was so inspiring it gave me plenty of ideas to work with.
I just couldn't get to the scraproom this weekend! Ugh! Life is way too busy right now. I loved the challenges and I'm hoping to be able to work on them during the week. Thank you to the peeps who worked so hard putting this together!

Thank you for such a fun time! It was just what I needed to jump back into scrapbooking. I truly appreciate the work put into this event and I look forward to the next one!
Ladies!! I'm tossing around an idea in my head for the next VSBN (or later). I have several big projects I need to get done and was trying to figure out how to make it work in a VSBN. I'm thinking vacations, weddings, seniors/graduations, baby books, etc. My thoughts are to make the challenge rules, but not a topic. Each participant would choose the topic and then complete a page following the guidelines. What are your thoughts? Also, how many challenges is a good number?
Thanks for the wonderful comments. I really enjoyed working on these and with each of you. I really enjoyed seeing the art you made with the guidelines I wrote. It's amazing how different they are and how beautiful!!! Thanks for a great VSBN
I love this idea. My brother and SIL just had twin boys a week ago and they already have a just-turned-2-year-old. As a Christmas gift, I want to offer to make them a scrapbook of the boys. So I love the idea of challenge rules, but no set topic. This time, I would do better at sticking to the challenge rules by writing them down! I didn't do that this time and I found I would forget some of them as I was creating!
As for the number of challenges, I like three on Friday, about five on Saturday, and three or four on Sunday. Even though participants have more time than just the weekend to play along, I found it more fun to participate as it was happening. Something about knowing others out there were scrapbooking at the same time on the same challenge was exciting to me!

I think that is what o like about VSBN, knowing that we are all scrapping at the same time. I was go ho over the weekend and now have slowed down, even tho I have 6 challenges left to go!

There's just something about doing the challenges "live" ... we used to chat in the threads while we had the 2 hours to scrap. Unfortunately, in the last couple of years, we've not been able to do that kind of "Virtual Crop" setting as it seems folks are so busy and it's hard for many to set aside to just do a few hours of scrapping
I thought our Challenges were Fabulous! We already have some great ideas/themes for next year VSBN Calendar and Diana this is one I'm including ....

Awesome!!! I look forward to planning more challenges for next year. Maybe more of us could Skype at appointed times during the weekend. Doni and I Skype and craft almost daily. We both really enjoy our Skype time. AND you don't have to move your stuff
I want to thank you all as well. I've been inspired to get quite a few pages done in between all that's going on in my day to day life. This particular challenge w/relation to family was very timely as w/recent get togethers I had a lot of great pics to scrap.
I hope to work on some more as this is a lighter work week for me this week and next. Thanks for being so welcoming as well!
