I have created a tutorial to make a window frame using two square punches.

I created another tutorial that shows how to make a wallet out of cardstock. It has 4 pockets for gift cards and has a larger pocket to hold money--just like a real wallet!

This would make a great masculine gift for any occasion--birthdays, graduation, Father's Day, etc. Enjoy!

Video Tutorial

It's a tutorial. It's a video. But it's not a technique.

Many people ask how to ink up a jumbo cartridge so Stamper did a video about it. There's a good card on there at the end & it's always fun to see where the director show up.

View this video & more here.

Great tutorial. It has been a looooong time since I've used my Pastels. I can't wait to drag them out and try this technique.

Thanks!

PS -- I have that same little purple ruler! I love it ... I use it ALL the time!

  • Quick No-Template Box
  • Double Pocket Card with Flap
(called a 1/4 Fold Double Pocket Card)
  • Chunky Glitter & Chipboard
And in the next day or two, I'll be doing something about using One Punch with 3 Looks.

Hope you're like them!

I put up a new tutorial just now. It's for the wood letters I've been doing forever. Someone here, forget who, asked me to do one- and I finally have! :) It really is simple-- but I have to say, making your own letters makes it even better!

This is really a great craft item. I really like it, especially being a retired baker.

I just put up a mini-tutorial for a medallion that I made for one of my cards and one of my readers wanted to see how it was done!

Dara 06-12-2008 05:21 AM

I came up with a great technique, it is called smoosh, squish & spray. You start with glossy paper. I used photo paper. I filled a spary bottle with water and 2 drops of food coloring.

Then I take a baggie, I open it up along the side and the bottom. Now it is open like a book. I take two similar shades of a color. Lets say blue, bashful blue, and blue bayou. I used my ink PAD, I smoosh the color on one side of the baggie, lets say the bashful blue is on the left. Then we take the bayou, and smoosh it on the right side of the bag. You then close the bag. Take your bone folder and squish your colors together.

Open the baggie back up. Take your spray bottle with your water and food coloring, spray once or twice on the inside of the baggie. Close the baggie back up. Use you bone folder again, smoosh it along the baggie, open the baggie up. Take 2 pieces of your glossy paper. Put them back to back, glossy side out. Close your baggie again, use your bone folder and create your pattern on the glossy paper.

I have several versions of this technique on my gallery. It is a great NEW technique, I created it, and it is a lot of fun! Why don't you join the fun!!!

Nope, sorry, no blog, haven't had the time, or know how to figure it out. I'm in school full time these days. I seldom have time to stamp these days. I do it when I can, but thanks for the interest.
