I agree those distressed flowers are great and look wonderful in a bunch
|
Love these-easy to make and look so good. Like how they are "portable".
Going on a trip and have cut out supplies to make a bunch on the road. Cheers Joy |
I thought I would add here that I have a new tutorial for a double tied bow. It's a double layered bow that you make with one piece of ribbon. :D

I just posted two more tutorials using MDS as I have had questions about how to do certain things. I have another tutorial planned for tomorrow. They are for making four 6 X 6 layouts on a 12 X 12 page, using overlay stamps and tomorrows is just this fun framing technique I discovered while playing.
The tutorials for MDS can be found here: http://kittystamp.blogspot.com/searc...gital%20Studio I have other Non MDS tutorials that can be found here: http://kittystamp.blogspot.com/search/label/Tutorials |
Looking for lamp shade tutorial
This is a FABULOUS thread. Thanks to all who are participating.
I hope someone can help me because I want to make a lampshade for one of those dollar store candle stick lamps. Don't know where to look for a tutorial to make one, exact size, etc. Can anyone help me that? Thanks in advance |
I have made oodles of these using templates from
www.jersgirl.com http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwoo.../templates.htm Decorate as desired....unscrew the bulb in your candlestick and place a cd on the socket, then screw the bulb back in. This holds the shade evenly in place |
lamp shade
Thanks, Ruth. I will give it a try. Did you just play with the template on regular paper until the size was right?
Lynne |
Terrie here LOL
I just brought it into Paint Shop Pro, decorated it digitally and printed. It was the right size |
pop up box
Does anyone have a line or tutorial on creating a pop up box like the one found on designs made by me's blog?

strawberry template
I posted a strawberry template on my blog yesterday - I used it to make cards, but it would make a cute applique, embellishment or felt piece, depending on how you resize it!
