I'm sure y'all want more interesting projects, but I did just do a tute for an Easter or Spring Wreath using a Sizzix die & a few things.

If you'd like to see it....http://bstampingbeehive.blogspot.com

{gee,Hope I made that link right! }

JoBear2, I feel for you over there so far away and in the middle of the ocean. I am shipping a crop a dile and big bite over to another Aussie and the shipping is over $30! I guess $52 bucks total for these with shipping is a deal if you are paying $19 for a box of glue dots. Please pass the word so that other people may save.

Oops! Here is that link!

You have a very nice blog, Paula!

Mountain Gal 03-25-2010 02:26 PM

Do tutorials need to be in video format, or can photos with instructions suffice for a tutorial?

GiddyGreetings 03-25-2010 03:31 PM

However you want to do your tutorials would be find for us, or at least me :)

I actually prefer them to be written out instead because I usually get them at work, plus I can print them out to follow later.

Kduff 03-26-2010 03:28 PM

I like to print the tuts as I can do things and reference them without having to boot up the computer also easier to refer and nut out problems without having to rewind the video to find the right spot to go over a point.

craftymomto2 03-26-2010 04:35 PM

Either is fine with me, I like any tutorial!

kittystamp 03-27-2010 02:53 PM

Wow I cant believe I have missed this thread-awesome tutorials everyone!

I have a number of tutorials on my blog. They can be found here.

Quite a few (I think 13) are for My Digital Studio, including templates I have designed for a Heart favor box, bookmarks, explosion box and background for a hybrid picture. I have some that show features to easily make changes to templates to vary a layout and some tricks for newer users. The MDS tutorials are here.

There are some for the Big Shot tutorials as well - a very quick Top Note frame (good for a kids project) and several matchbox ideas.

It is delightful to see everyones creative ideas!

Faux Brad Tutorial

1 Attachment(s)
Here's a tutorial I just posted. I make a lot of faux brads and I had requests to show how I got the nice rounded shape and shine like a real brad. Then when I mentioned I made a Jig to use for this tech, they wanted to see that, too. So I included the instructions for both.I'd love for y'all to check it out!

Here's a little card using some of the faux brads.

Thank you - this is AWESOME!

Just checked out how you makes these brads - thank you SO MUCH for the tutorial - it's fantastic. The brads look so real - you would never pick them for faux brads in a million years.

jknath 04-28-2010 10:24 AM

I have a brief tutorial on dying both flower soft and seam binding ribbon with re-inkers. It is pretty basic and intuitive but it is HERE if you are interested.
