I actually have the Scor-Pal, the large Scor-It and the mini Scor-It. I use my mini when I go to classes and since I bought my Scor-Pal I actually haven't used the Scor-It. I don't believe either one is superior to the other as was mentioned about cutters - each fits to a particular style and feel. One thing I do like about the Scor-It is that the valley is a little bit larger than the SP which helps when I have a piece of paper that's a wee bit crooked so I can maneuver the paper when folding it in half. I do think I'm moving away from my Scor-It which means some wonderful friend will get it as a surprise! :)

Jael 10-21-2009 03:30 PM

I have tried both products and I love my Scor-Pal the most.

IndyAngel 10-21-2009 07:47 PM

Another Scor-Pal lover here. I use mine nearly every day!

Very cute! Thanks for sharing with us.

expressingme 10-22-2009 07:17 AM

I love how clean this is! The black and white are very classy and simple. Nice job and thanks for the tute!

Mountain Gal 10-22-2009 08:12 AM

I've used a Score-It at the scrapbook store, and I have a Score-Pal at home. I like them both. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. In some ways I prefer the Score-It, and in some ways I prefer the Score-Pal. It really kind of depends on my project.

Love the homemade Flower Soft tutorial! Thank you for sharing it! I have stood looking at it at the store, but hesitated buying it because of the cost, and not sure if I'd use it enough to justify buying it.

Just one question, though: What brand of re-inker did you use? Was it a dye-based ink, a pigment based, or alcohol ink?

Kduff 10-25-2009 05:48 PM

I love my scorpal, makes things so much easier

meluvstampin 10-27-2009 04:18 AM

FANTASTIC ideas! I am going to make me some today!

mlamarredesigns 10-27-2009 04:33 PM

I luv the scor -it, I brought the scorpal before the Scorit, It doesn't score as clean as the scor it.
I endup with a lot of paper fibers being broken.
With the Scor-it it was crisp and clean no broken fibers. Yeah I'm s tickler for things like that.
I luv it so much I contacted the owner and show him the difference on the items I scor with the scorpal and the same items with the scor-it you can see the difference very quickly.
Just my 2 cents :)

I took the plunge and created a simple tutorial using copic, Cuttlebug folder as a stamp and shimmerz.
Let me know what you think of this tutorial?

I just did a card tutorial that has instructions for making BIG templates with your Nestabilities.: http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2009/1...ween-digi.html

It lets you have them any size you want (though it does involve a scanner & hand cutting) :o)

Michelle Embossing Tutorials

Hi Michelle

I don't post here a lot but I do love following what everyone is doing.

I thank you for the great tutorials on embossing. I have always wanted to do it but was soooo scared of failure plus I wasn't sure on what sort of inks and powders to use that I have always talked myself out of it. :(

Your tutorials are so simple to follow. :-D

Thank you again

Wedemeyer 11-01-2009 06:01 PM

Thanks Denise. I am so glad you are enjoying the embossing tutorials. I hoping to do another this week.
