I know it's March but it snowed at my house today so I thought it would be fitting. That way you can get started on your Christmas quilling now The video can be found HERE.
made my first dew drops last night...used su ink....this morning...ink comes right off...guess i need to get alcohol ink huh? still lovin them...and maybe i need to get new glue sticks to see if i can get them to be clear....what cha think? denise
I have noticed that some glue brands work better than others, look for the clearest ones on the store, also high temp ones seem to be clearer. Hope it helps, I need a new glue gun, my keeps dripping but it is OLD! Here is a helpful tip. Make up a bunch of clear ones and die a bunch as you need them. I keep them in clear masking tape containers (My BIL works at a paper mill and they just throw them way) and I glue magnets to the back and stick them to the filing cabinet that way I can always find stuff.

Love your cupcake toppers! They are just too cute!
This is a great idea. I gotta try it out. Is the pearl ex embossing powder. Sorry, this may sound like a dumb question to some of you. I love the pearl looking dew drops.

No, it is not an embossing powder. I use perfect pearls. It is a pigment powder that can be used as is in powder form or with perfect medium (pad similar to versamark) or can be mixed with water or other mediums. I do not have pearl ex but have been told it is a similar product.
I had posted a card in a previous post using Flower Soft. I wanted to do a short tutorial on how easy it is to use it. Enjoy! You can see the video HERE.

I just put the dew drops in a plastic bag with the gold pearl-ex and shook it till they were all covered. They turned out beautifully.

Thanks for all the great tutorials! I need help finding something that I know I have seen somewhere here but I can't find it now. Someone had posted a tutorial making a rectangle using a square nestie and one making a square using a rectangle. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks so much for the prams and display boxes! I love how you make several versions so we can pick and choose how we want to make them.
Love your talent! Annejala
