Default White Shadow Stamping on Kraft

I did some experimenting with offset stamping on kraft cardstock using white pigment ink and dye inks. It's a cool look. This was done with a geometrical stamp... I wonder if it will look good with other stamps (flowers? balloons?). More to try in the future!

Your card turned out great! When I tried this technique, it didn't turn out so well. I don't know what I did wrong, but I didn't get any dimension. Everything looked flat with a white border on one side. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe it was the white ink? Either the type, or possibly it didn't dry all the way...? Also, I know some stamps looked better than others with the technique. Don't give up!

It could be that the white ink wasn't dry. I didn't know that it had to be dry. Thanks! I'll give it another try.

Thank you!! I found quite a few - just be sure it has some solid areas. I like the geometric pattern but you could use flowers or other shapes, maybe even mix it up, such as with a flower outside and flower center in two different colors for each flower going across.

I love white stamping on craft paper. My favorite- 1st stamp an image with white. 2nd: Stamp the same image, but slightly offset, in NAVY blue! So fabulous with scenic stamps!!!

Default What Dimension!

Looking at the picture of the card I can’t believe it is just one layer. It looks like each triangle is in its own little box. Until I watched the video I couldn’t figure out how that wasn’t so. Can’t wait to try the technique. Is there a gallery on SCS for this technique!?

I’ve seen Jennifer McGuire do this technique, but haven’t yet tried it. Now I’ll have to do so!

Yes. In fact, confusingly, there are two as there have been two different tutorials and they were given different galleries. I'll link the tutorials and you will find the gallery link down at the bottom of the tutorial.
