Arrow Double Embossed Background Technique Video

You can view the video in this post @ stamperdog.com OR here are the written instructions:
  1. Use an embossing folder to dry emboss your colored card stock.
  2. Lightly pounce Craft or VersaMark ink to cover just the raised parts.
  3. Apply Embossing Powder (I've used Clear & Iridescent Ice on separate cards)
Done!

The Wilted Ribbon Flower that's shown on the card featured in the video is in this post.

Enjoy!

Great video tutorial, Ann! I really like the double embossing. I'm going to give it a try today. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

I've not tried adding embossing powder, but when I add ink it gets everywhere, not just the raised parts. I am just touching the paper with ink, not pounding it.

I don't know what to say except to touch it lighter than you're touching it. I haven't had that problem with any I've done, but maybe I have less ink on my pad than you.

Honestly, I was surprised how hard I COULD touch it.

Are you using Embossing Folders or are you using the Texture Plates? I don't think that the Texture Plates emboss deeply enough.

Hope that helps!
