Default TLC734 ~ Bead Embellishments ~ {3/18/19}

Hi friends! I have a quick technique for you to try using a tutorial from Splitcoast...The tutorial I am using for my inspiration is HERE and is on making a paper bead bracelet. BUT if you follow the tutorial using a toothpick or other smaller tool, you can make a smaller bead - great for embellishing your cards. HERE is another tutorial that may help to that point (thanks to the folks that shared this one!)

So the challenge is to make a card and add paper bead embellishments. Just have fun with it! I can't wait to see your projects!

Here are the Details for today's challenge:
Keyword: TLC734

My Samples:

Oh, this is a fun technique. When I saw the header in the email I thought it was going to be seed beads, which I haven't used for ages but I'm up for trying this again too.

We have another tutorial which does use toothpicks and makes smaller beads suitable for embellishments which you can see here: https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/r...ls/paperbeads/
The triangle option at the end of it is my favourite.

If you use that one and want to upload to the technique gallery, you will need to choose Anything But A Card from the first drop-down, then Jewellery, Handbags, Wearable Art and then a third set of options appears where you pick Jewellery...and finally Paper Beads. It's a little more of a trail than usual.

Here's mine: TLC734 Flowers and Beads

And I have more beads left to use another day - I might cover those ones with Glossy Accents.

I made this in 2017 so I'll not keyword it to this, but will link it here just so you can see it. I gave it away and don't really need another but it was fun.

I didn't read the challenge very well. I thought it was to be the paper bracelet. So maybe I'll try something else later!

Here's my card Good Luck, found that I had to wind them onto a knitting needle because the hole was too small with a tooth pick. Had great fun doing it though.
