SUPPLIES NEEDED:
washi tape
dye based ink (2-3 colors)
small glass of water & small paintbrush
(OR open well brush pen such as SU!'s aquapainter)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Lightly add as many strips of washi tape to a card base.
2. Using ink and water, watercolor over the washi tape.
3. Gently remove the washi tape from watercolored card base.
4. Allow to dry before stamping and creating a card.
Voila! It's super duper easy! And the background it makes is always stunning! I hope you enjoy it!!! More importantly, I hope you simply enjoy being creative today! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

This was fun to try. Even though I put the washi tape on my jeans before putting it on the paper, it still didn't want to release from the paper without tearing it. Thanks for the challenge:

When I use washi with this technique, I always try to remember to put it down ever so lightly so that it doesn't adhere securely. You're card turned out wonderful!
