TLC610~ Get to the Point~ [10/31/2016]
Happy Halloween!
Welcome to another TLC Challenge.
Everyone here at SCS has been so busy creating for the Falliday Fest and for Halloween that I am giving you a super easy, but fun challenge today called:
>TLC610; GET TO THE POINT<
No fancy supplies needed so grab some stamps, a marker and some paper and come play along.
First you will need to stamp your image. Choose some 'open detail' stamps for best results. I chose flower images and stamped them using black Memento ink.
Next, take a fine-line marker and instead of coloring in the background, fill it in using tiny black dots with the tip of your marker. It is very simple to do and a great way to highlight your stamped image. I left my images black and white to create a monochromatic looking card but you can color your image in if your so choose.

Karen, your sample looks fabulous....and with a holiday Monday I won't even have to borrow time from housework to give it a try  . It also looks like something I could have done in work, stamped the image and brought a marker in. I love techniques that are so portable. |

Great technique that adds bg interest and is easy to do, Karen. I did alter your directions a bit and did not cover my entire bg with dots. Thanks.

I am so happy to be playing in your challenge Karen. Now that our very busy Fall has winded down (harvesting our garden and camping for 4 weeks) I hope to post more cards to my SU gallery. I do have plenty of new cards in my blog because I was able to schedule them ahead.

Managed to make a card using dots, not many but my BG stamp had the small dots on it and I've filled in some of the butterfly and flowers with more dots.
