Default TLC597 ~ Everything Old is New Again: Retiform ~ {08/01/2016}

Happy Monday, Happy August!
I have an easy challenge today for you - and I think it's one that those of the Fan Club members who are trying to achieve Queen status should be able to combine with a DTGD challenge.

We are learning or revisiting the Retiform technique - it's great for an easy mailable card, and I think it's especially good for masculine cards.
Here is the tutorial in Resources:
Splitcoaststampers - Retiform Technique Tutorial by Beate Johns
** With reference to the tutorial, since I personally am not very good with a brayer, I always just sponge my colour on.
** The reference to Classic inks is to SU's range of dye-based inks. Any ink that you can apply with a sponge or brayer is suitable.

If you need a little inspiration or more visual cues, there is a gallery linked to the tutorial

Here's a link to our TLC597 Retiform gallery

Here's my card: TLC597 Retiform Rabbits.

Remember to use the keyword TLC597 when you are uploading. It's helpful (to the hostesses for sure!) if you come back and leave a link on this thread .

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:

1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Thanks, Sabrina, for reminding me of a technique I hadn't thought of in 30 years (at least).

Been gone for a few days, but got home early enough today to get one card done.
