Default TLC581 ~ Fancy Piercing ~ {4/11/16}

Hello stamping friends~!

Today's Technique is a twist on a couple of previous techniques - paper piercing - so I am calling it "fancy paper piercing." Straight lines around the outside edge of your panels are out -- let's do something a little more curvy! You can free pierce around your image, or use a template for piercing, as I did in my sample, or any number of things as long as it's not just an outline around the edge of your card. Pierced waves, words, walruses.....whatever you come up with! Just add some fancy piercing somewhere on your project.

Keyword: TLC581

My sample: Happy Day

Heart TLC581 Pixie Wish

Judy- perfect challenge, thanks! Have been putting together tags, which I fanned out behind my pixie image, adding a framed sentiment, and some washi tapes and buttons for embellies. Here's Pixie Wish

Thanks, Judy, for a challenge that called for me to do something I've not done in such a long time.

I used the circles template on the su! piercing kit. Twice. By accident. Here are my cards: CAS372 annoyed and TLC580 fleeting greeting

Okay, I have my card(s) done. I thought I had messed up, however, we all have learned how to cover our mistakes pretty well if we have been card making for any time at all. Am I right?! Like when you leave an ink fingerprint on the edge of your card and decide to sponge the edge… Oftentimes a "fixed" card turns out better than what we originally had in mind. Anyway, let me know which one you like best.

Also, can someone tell me how you all put the link in a word instead of having the entire link below?
Thanks

TLC581 A Piercing Mess

I pierced around my circles. I was too chicken to free-hand the spiral piercing to echo the sentiment, so I pencilled it in on the back of some of the circles, pierced, then turned over and pierced again.

It is really pretty simple piercing but is is different than the border or what we usually do.
