I made another card this morning. I thought I was being original but when I uploaded, found a very similar card in the gallery by Texemo...

I can see that a few 'floral' cards will be in order this week. Here's one:

These were all based on beautiful cards I had saved from SCS in the past, and I apologize for not being able to credit the original designer, but they definitely have a WOW-factor about them, and my DD's quirky sense of style adds a little whimsy to them, too!

I hope you enjoy seeing them, and I REALLY hope to be able to start uploading the normal way again soon!
Wow! Becky, your daughter did an awesome job on those cards! They're great! I stamp with 11-year olds frequently. I never see cards like that! She has talent!

Please tell your daughter her cards are Wow! Her designs and colors are just beautiful and very creative. Give her a big hug from this Nana for her good work. Must include them in the favorites for the week.

Default my first challenge

Hi girls,
thanks for this challenge... This is my first one and I love it...

http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...0&ppuser=56598

If you check my gallery, you're going to find my 1st class calendar. 12 complete 6X6 pages in 3 hours... If it's not simple...

thanks

This simple card combines TLC36 (simple wow) with CC34. It is embossed with iridescent ice so it's more sparkly in person!

Beth........did you know "keep it simple" is hard?!? I kept wanting to add things. I was able to combine with TLC35 faux linen. Hope you like it. Not approved as of 9:00 p.m. PST

I love the cards made for this challenge! I whipped one out real quick just to see how fast I could do it. It's a very simple card, minimal in all respects. I like it, but it shows up kind of dull in the scan, I think. Here it is:

I did another one. This is five layers but anytime you want to make it more on the simple line just omit a layer or two.
Now for the demos out there I just figured a great way to help sell those punches. If this has already been done I've never seen it and was rather proud of myself for thinking of it, so read the description for the idea. You could do this with any style punch which gives an idea for flowers!

Here's my card

Can you tell that I love this Floral background stamp - alone, it is simple and yet so elegant. Here is another 'simple' floral card - this time using not quite navy (i love these craft spots) on copper - great combination IRL!

Thanks for looking.

Here's one I did for a beginner stamp camp...man is it simple! Only one layer and no ribbons (I had to really really restrain myself to keep from adding a chocolate ribbon!) Also works for CC34!

http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...p?photo=173295

this one may be stretching the definition of 'simple' but really it is quick to assemble with the pastels, versamark and the cool tag punch.

Default Simple FUN!!!

WOW! I am just blown away by all the beautiful samples you all posted!

Here is the first card I demo-ed at my first workshop.

Here is the other card from the workshop.

Actually, most of my cards are simple! LOL! Here is one that is unusual and easy!!

This was by far the easiest set of thank you notes that I made for the girl's birthday celebration. I don't know what could be more simple than the punch kit!

Thanks for looking!

Question Why aren't my cards being approved?

Late last night I uploaded 3 cards that I felt would fit this challenge. It's been nearly 16 hours and the images still haven't been approved. It's never taken this long for any of my cards to be approved before.

Do I need to email a moderator or somebody to find out what gives? If I do, who would I send the message to?

Thanks in advance for any help. This is the first time I've tried participating in a challenge here at Splitcoast and unfortunately, the long (imo) delay is starting to dampen my enthusiasm to take part in more of them.

Please don't give up on the challenges, we want to see

But, Sundays are "no upload day" meaning that no cards will be approved on Sundays. You can upload but they won't come thru until Monday. This allows the gals that do all the approvals to get a day of rest. So give us those links tomorrow!

Thanks for your quick response, Jodi! I wasn't aware of the "no upload day" downtime. I'll just have to remember not to upload then because I am too impatient to wait to see my stuff on the "big screen".

Here are 2 cards with SAB sets. I'm waiting for an SU delivery. Then I'm going to make the other 2 stamps in the Gently Falling set using the same basic format, but with a little something different in each one.
