I got my camera to work today (yay!). This was a fun technique, Betty. I will definitely have to try it again. Here's my card -- http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...4152?cat=12528
Now to go look at what everyone posted today. I expect to see lots of gorgeous cards.

I just had to do another card when I saw Karen's (Imastampin) egg card - cause she reminded me of this retired SU set "Elegant Eggs".
Elegant Egg
Thanks for looking/commenting.

Bette, this was such a great challenge. Earlier I submitted my butterflies in flight and told the story of how I had planned to do a floral with a butterfly on them, but when I saw the way the butterfly came out I just had to make one with just butterflies. Now I am submitting the one I started with the flowers I had made (minus a butterfly). TFL!

Here's mine. I made pretty trucks instead of pretty flowers. I don't know if anyone else has thought of this yet. I haven't stalked the gallery in about 6 hours.

My first attempt with this fun technique. I don't have any magazines so I used a catalog I got in the mail. Here is what I came up with:

I used a very large stamp (From the Garden - hostess)
It was hard to find a magazine portion that this stamp could cover. My first attempt was stamping on a photo of a braided rug from an LL Bean catalog. That didn't look right (especially with the dog's tail on the rug ). So I had a little more success with an old calendar of nature scenes.
Next time, I'll look harder for a slightly smaller outline stamp - but this card turned out okay...

Am I late? I've never done this challenge before, but I really wanted to try this technique. My dad used to do some proper cloisonné enamelling.
I really enjoyed it, though I think I need to find an easier stamp to use next time I give it a whirl.

I joined splitcoaststampers not too long ago and am enjoying the inspiration I am getting and the new technics I am learning. You all make beautiful cards!! This card is sooo different from the ones I usually make. I will never look at a magazine in the same way that I used too!!
Here is my card:
Hmmmmm, I guess I still can't post a URL. If you want to look at my card go to my gallery. 4evertina I'll have to upload more cards to the gallery!
