TLC83 - Waterfalls for fall
This week's challenge was suggested by Lisa/nmslmomto3. It is something I've always wanted to try myself, but haven't as of yet. Check out the resources page for the tutorial on Waterfall Cards.
When you add your card to the gallery, please choose the Waterfall category under Techniques (rather than by stamp set as we normally do). Don't forget to add TLC83 to the keyword sections. If you need help uploading, click on this link for helpful information:
If you have questions, please ask. If you have suggestions, please share!

I look forward to seeing all your creations!
As always, I am in search of suggestions for techniques for future TLCs! Please PM with suggestions and a link to the directions and/or a sample if you can. Thanks!
Have fun, my friends! :)

Beate 09-25-2006 05:41 AM

I haven't done those in ages. Great challenge!!!!

robynstamps 09-25-2006 05:41 AM

I'm so scared but I'll try it! I've received these in swaps for years but I have always been to chicken to try. I'm such an anal, easy stamper!! I'm sure I'll change my tune. Off to try!

nmslmomto3 09-25-2006 05:42 AM

Pinky 09-25-2006 05:50 AM

I have only made one of these and that was almost 2 years ago. It will be like I have never done one for sure. I will try this again...so confused the first time I did it. This sounds like tons of fun...thanks for making us stretch today!

DawnL 09-25-2006 05:55 AM

oooh, never done one... this should be fun! thanks Beth!

golly 09-25-2006 06:03 AM

Good Challenge today. I made one of these not long after I found this website. I had just been stamping a couple of months. HERE IT IS. This was when I only had a few supplies. I hope my coloring has improves since then. I still have the directions printed out somewhere. TFL

Vicky Gould 09-25-2006 06:06 AM

I haven't done one in ages either, but they are fun!!! Gotta do some running and then, I'm in!!! Thanks, Beth!

melfrank1 09-25-2006 06:07 AM

Cool! I have wanted to do one of these forever! Thanks for the challege!!!!

lacyquilter 09-25-2006 06:10 AM

Oh, haven't made one of these for awhile, either. Not sure if I'll have time today, but my suggestion for y'all: USE GOOD GLUE. I made one of these about a month before I needed it, and when I pulled it out to sign it, it fell apart and I had to reglue it.

bambi64 09-25-2006 06:12 AM

I haven't made one in a long time. Maybe after my trip to Hobby Lobby ;)

I use mono multi on mine and they stay together GREAT! Do not use the mono adhesive or such like that, as they do not stay together as nicely!

genie1314 09-25-2006 06:26 AM

I wish I had the new set Mix and Match. I bet those faces would be cute for a waterfall card. Still thinking which set I should use for it.

I've always been afraid to try one of these! Thought it would be too hard! Beate's sensational tutorial make it seem simple. Here is my first Waterfall Card:

Lynn, love your card, but I can't take credit for the great tutorial. I didn't write it! :)

I've made several of these in the past so here is my favorite of those. I am going to do another today though as I love them! Check out my gallery for the others if you are interested! ~Lorie

allee's 09-25-2006 09:05 AM

My apoligies to Karen for not giving her credit for her fabulous work!!! Karen, your tutorial is wonderfully written and made it it easy to construct this card!!

Babsnelson 09-25-2006 09:09 AM

This was fun. It took me two tried to get the gluing right, but I like the end result. Next time I will be a little more creative with it.

Thanks for the fun challenge Beth!

This is a fun challenge. I hope I will have time later to make a new one, maybe with a Fall theme. Here are a couple I previously made: Christmas

loislane125 09-25-2006 09:54 AM

I had so much fun with the first one, I had to make another. I don't like this one as well. I ruined it because I went back and sponged around the background after I had already put the card together. I think I would have used different colors if I had it to do over. Oh well, here it is anyway:
