Default Yasutomo Sumi watercolor v. Twinkling H2O?

Has anyone use either product and have a recommendation?

I have sevaral of the Twinkling H20's and I love them. You just simply use a wet brush or aqua painter with them. They leave a pearlescent shimmer. They are very pretty. I never tried the other product.
The Twinkling H20's come in many, many different colors. Right now I have 17 of the colors and still don't have them all! THey last along time to. I have had mine about 7 months and still can't tell that I have really used them at all! They are well worth the $1.75 a pot I paid for them!

I own a large number of the H20's and the gold and silver Yasutomo Sumi watercolor (purchased a few years before H20's) Honestly they are both good quality products the gold and silver of the Yasutomo is a very good thick color. I think for the color variety H20's are awesome and I believe they are generally cheaper. Also I looked online and it appears as though not all of the Yasutomo colors have mica in them to make them shimmery so that would be a factor as well. Oh I also just read that the Yasutomo colors are more opaque which I from my experience is true. If you don't have an aquapainter then you can always just spray some water in with a fine mister bottle and let it sit for a couple of minutes so the paint thickens. HTH

You can also get them very inexpensively from Marco Papers. They have awesome cardstock as well.

I got my H2O's from www.wilde-ideas.com , and I was very pleased with them. They seem to have sales or shipping specials pretty often on their website.
