Default Xyron deal !

Got a chance to go to Tuesday Morning yesterday and while their particular craft section is pretty small, I found a couple of good deals. They had the Slice for $124 (didn't get), and they had the teeny Xyron shaped like the breast cancer ribbon with 5 regular refills in it for $16.99. Snagged that up in a heart beat !! Should I be excited? Is it as good a deal as I think ? Will I hate the product? Any tips? Also, they had 2 packs of TimHoltz grunge paper for $7.99, which I saw in another store for $10 for one. TM has some good stuff if you catch them at just the right time.

If you mean the x, that is a great deal! The x sells for about 10 bucks and the refills are five bucks each, so it would be a minimum of 35 dollars for all of that!
Great eye!

I love mine. I have a tip- if you don't want to go around the edges of whatever you are making into a sticker before you peel back the clear sheet, just use the crumpled clear sheet to clean up any extra glue hanging out on the edges.

that is a great deal!
theres an ad on the left side of the screen here, so i clicked, they want 24.99!

its a great lil "machine" to have on hand for all those lil punched shapes and things,
my advise it to leave it on your work table, or out where you can see it so you remember to use it!

i had mine for a long time....... in a drawer......it was forgotten til i rearranged the drawers....now it stays on my table LOL............

just looking around and HSN has a regular X 1.5 for 19.99 plus 5.20 s&h (25.19) which is still cheaper than the ad on the sidebar, if anyone's interested.

That's a very good deal on a great product! And you're very right about TM. They don't have a lot of craft stuff, but when they do have things, it's usually a great deal. (BTW, I bought my Slice there in August and LOVE it!)

If I can get by there, I may see if my TM has that deal. It would be worth it just for the refills alone! And I find I'm using my Xyrons a lot (I have a bigger one, too) now that I have the Slice.

Happy gluing!!!

My TM didn't have that cute pink xyron machine, they had a bundle with the regular 1.5" machine with one refill, a handheld adhesive applicator and double sided photo tape for $19.99. didn't seem like that great a deal so I passed.

Default best prices on refills?

I got this one too along with the sticker maker. Where is the best place to get refills for a good price?
