Those of you who own 500 types of white ink pads, which is the best on black CS? I don't necessarily want to emboss but that would be a possibility. Thanks.
I prefer SU! white craft ink. I've never had much success with Brilliance or stazon white on cs. Stazon works GREAT on transparencies and other slick surfaces, though.
If you want to emboss I would personally just use versamark and white embossing powder. If you wanted a white non-embossed look I like the way Palette New Canvas comes out on dark colored cardstock.

I've used Palette's hybrid New Canvas for embossing, and find that it works great for details. I find that the SU craft and the other white pigment pads are just too mushy and blur any details when you emboss. I found that the Palette ink stays wet long enough to emboss. Hope this helps!
The stazon white won't work well on cardstock...it's too porous. It's great for non-porous surfaces like acetate or glass. You need a pigment ink or a chalk ink (I've used the pigment and it works well...I haven't personally used a white chalk ink)
I had SU White and I didn't like that it never dried. Then I bought Stazon only to find out it is not meant for paper. So I went to my local stamp store and they demoed a few for me. I decided to go with the VersaMagic Cloud White Chalk Ink Pad. It does not dry instantly, but does dry within a few minutes. And it is vibrant enough on darker card stock.
I use Tsukineko Versamagic white chalk ink. Works really really well on black paper!

I'm another who LOVES SU! Craft White Ink! I just zap it for a few seconds with my heat tool and it's ready to go! I've never used a white ink pad that was as vibrant as the SU craft pad!

Can't stand the SU white either, I was always smearing it. I think the VersaMagic cloud white chalk is the best too. I was taught that chalks work great on dark cs.
For yet another opinion, you could try CTMH new white daisy ink pad.
Z2163 WHITE DAISY EXCLUSIVE INKS™ STAMP PAD
Now whiter than ever! This acid-free, fade-resistant pigment ink dries quickly and permanently on most papers, and really pops on dark surfaces! It's also permanent on fabrics, wood, clay, and porous surfaces after heat-setting.
I have had my SU white craft pad since it first came out and it isn't too mushy or smeary now at all! Just give it more time and it will dry out some! All of my craft ink pads that are older dry much more quickly now. Good luck finding your favorite!
