Default where to find a white gel pen??????

i'm sorry if this is a needless thread, i couldnt find one about this.

here's my life ended dilema(lol.....)

i've been trying to find a solid ink white gel pen. i've found two or three, but they turn out to be opaque(clear, foggy) ink. the solid white ink is what i'm looking for like on some cards on the site here....it may say on the label it's solid white, but the ones i've got are opaque....frustration and waste of money at times.....

help!!!!

I don't know if this is as opaque as you would like.

The white gel pen by Inkssentials:

What about the Sharpie poster paint pen? I can't remember what it's called right now.. but there are threads about it. HTH!

Here is a recent thread with lots of stuff about white gel pens. The white pen I'm using now I got at Michaels from the display that has lots of single pens in little cubbies. It says "Sakura Gelly Roll Med. Point on the side, and it cost about $1.29.

Sometimes I have to scribble with it a bit to get it flowing, but it works pretty well for the most part. You have to write slowly with most white pens to get the best result. I mostly use it for making little dots in scallops, or to make faux stitching around things.

I love the one from SU! It is white! You do need to get it started, but once you get it rolling, it is white!

And it's a very opaque white, not a transparent white

Mommarocks,

I think we're having a problem with the definition here. If you want a pen that looks white, and that you CANNOT see through, you want an opaque pen. Opaque means that you cannot see through it. Opaque is not transparent.

i must have the worst luck w/ pens then....but after seeing the advice about the signo one from SU, i think i need to order them already!!! lol.....

i just bought a supposed white gel pen from HL, (it's black, w/white lettering on the barrel of the pen itself) the one w/white cap.....and it barely even comes out of the pen..it's like a marker type tip.....and wrote and wrote and wrote and barely anything came out except a very faint white that was extremely see through.....i will play w that pen again, but i like other ladies on here will order SU!!!

thanks again ladies, andsorry for the mix up....... just learning about all this stuff.....

Order the one from SU - I would be very surprised if you are disappointed. I used so many, I lost count, and finally bought one from SU. I think I have four now! I'm scared to death to have one die and not have a back-up.

I may be biased but I think SU has the BEST white gel pen. My customers love it and are never disappointed.

I have the SU and love it, I recently found the pen at a camera store with scrapbook facilities called Cord Camera in Hilliard Ohio. How lucky was I. My Su pen is running low and next order with Demo is 05/23!

I have bought every single white gel pen that Michael's and JoAnn's carries. SU's is BY FAR superior. The ones I purchased locally all ended in the trash can very quickly...what a pain they were....skipping, not writing solid...even when they were BRAND NEW...first time to use them. If they passed the first time test, the didn't work the next month when I reached for it. But SU's has been dependable and good.

Jenny,

Thanks for the Signo link. I just ordered a box. They only had 10 boxes left in stock, so I'm glad I jumped on it!
