Hi and welcome from New Zealand! You may be better off putting your question under Tool & Product Talk. Click on 'Forum' at the top of this page and the seventh title down is the one to try.

A local sign shop, such as Signs by Tomorrow or FastSigns, might be able to help you. I know they use huge sheets of vinyl which they die cut and then apply to sign bases. What they use may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it would be a place to look. ... Depending on what you're doing with the vinyl, ConTact adhesive-backed vinyl, which some people use for lining shelves, may be the right product.
