Question whatdo you think is your favorite brand of cardstock??

I am going to be buying cs for making invitations. I want a pale pink for these, any suggestions?

bazzill is my ultimate favorite cardstock. they are now even making it textureless for stampers. gotta love a company that will cater to new clients.

My favorite is Stampin' Up cardstock, but I do like that Bazzill (the textured stuff)!

Stampin up, would try Bazzil if I could get it without the texture. LSS doesn't carry.

I'm not sure if it is Bazzill but there is a linen textured CS that my LSS carries. It is so elegant and gorgeous. I like it for certain types of cards. Bazzill is usually high on my list altho I have a lot of SU. I like texture.

Stampin Up is my favorite. I resisted it for a long time figuring cardstock was cardstock, but I was wrong. I do like Bazzill for scrapbooking but for cards I only use SU.

Hands down........ Stampin' Up! I would not make any cards without it. IMHO it is the best CS out there.

Bazzill has a great light pink that is lighter than SU's Pretty In Pink, otherwise I say go with SU. It's a heavier weight that is nice for cards.

If you live near a Archivers, I bought some of their cardstock last week. Seems to be good quality. I used some of it today to do some scrapbooking. But my first choice for card making is SU.

I just discovered Prism, which is smooth on one side, textured on the other, and the range of shades is incredible! Cornish Heritage carries them in collections/assrtments of colors HERE.

I'm not sure where else you can find 'em online, tho . . .

It depends if you are doing alot of layering or not a whole lot. If there is only a little amount of layers I would go with SU. If you do layers than I like the thinner paper Bazil is one, CTMH is good as well. I am going to have to check out Prism, that sounds like really neat paper.

Ooooh, yeah. If you like white core card stock, Memory Box is *muy* nice! I love their color selection! You can see 'em at Ellen's store HERE.

The Cotton Candy is a lovely, lovely pale shade of pink---like chiffon pink!

I agree with Julie. My LSS has Prism cardstock and I've gotten a ton. The texture is wonderful. It's also colored all through, not white core.

I like the weight of SU cardstock and like a lot of the colors but sometimes I just can't find a color of theirs to match some dp I want to use so I use Bazill, usually just for layering and then I stamp my image on a smooth piece of cs.

I enjoy using DCWV textured cardstock with the white core, but honestly SU is my favorite.

I'm pretty sure the Memory Box Notes are A-2 (4.25 x 5.5), but ask Ellen, to confirm. She'll respond quickly.

They are A-2 size - for the prescored notecards (I have some). You can get regular sheets of Memory Box cs as well.

My votes are for SU & Memory Box - those 2 are my favs.

SU is my #1 - I have yet to find a CS as thick. Bazzil is my #2 - I am LOVING all the color choices (and I just got the new Smoothies CS and LOVE it!). I wanna try Prism CS eventually too

Malmero Perle blanc is my favorite white base card stock. 97# of beauty, sturdy and can be layered with Bazzill. The Bazzill is too whimpy for me to use for a card base, but the fact that it is a bit softish, makes it wonderful to put around paint cans, etc. I am getting rather tired of the SU cardstock because it is so plain & boring and has to be stamped to look good. I too am tired of colored cards -- I like adding color to cards but not to have the card be a colored base.

Bazzil gets my vote everytime. I love the color choices and the texture can really lend itself to so man of the projects I do. I'm more of a scrapbooker/paper arts person than a stamper so textured is fine by me. Might have to try some prism though, sounds interesting.

SU is the best. I like Bazzill's textured paper and sometime use it as an accent but for cards or things like an explosion box, the paper is too light. I went to score it and it ripped right through!
